BTW I found one of the o-ring threads. That was brutal. The Trutein reps could've handled that better.

So when someone asks about a precious incident regarding a company or product it's just cool to waive it off like it never happened. That holds true for Dymatize and their label claims
MGN and their major fiasco etcc . All the whey and what was found in their product. So bringing up things that have happened is now negative?

Re read my reply both are good products and good brands hence why they sell well and why I suggest both every individual has a different liking so to reccpmed. One is foolish because taste buds vary from each person who uses a product.

In for feedback. I won't be getting my tub until the end of the month, but I can't wait. Last year it was incredible.

I'm not denying that. I'm just saying this topic was created to be free of all the supplement rep bs and for people to post their honest opinions. Reps are welcome to post here, but the bickering and biased plugging of products can GTFO. There is a reason that this isn't in the supplement forum.

Yeah, its different i have never had a shamrock shake either but im not a huge mint guy but it was nice to get a change of pace i agree with Pyscho here its a strong mint with a hint of vanilla aftertaste. But that is what makes trutein unique their variety of flavors and exotic things you dont expect. When they had the sample of the irish cream that was off the charts. Somethings you dont expect from a protein powder can really open up your taste buds.

I like mint flavors. I just don't like mint when it is mixed with stuff. I think those little chocolate mints are disgusting

I love mint and loved the mint flavor I got from syntha6 I believe but this blows it away which is saying alot because I typically much prefer chocolate to vanilla

I googled threads after seeing Bob mention it.

One of the arms of a mixer for Trutein malfunctioned in the production of the Shamrock Shake flavor. It ended up grinding against something and shaving off tiny (sand gain sized) plastic/rubber parts into the powder. There was a few people who reported contaminated containers, and then a tons of people started claiming they had a few of the shavings in their tubs too, but most of them were full of chit.

If people found out they had contaminated containers, they could contact Trutein and get it replaced. People raged that Trutein didn't just recall/refund everyone who bought shamrock shake. Also, people didn't take too kindly to Trutein telling them there were no health hazards to consuming the o-rings if they happened too.


Everyone looks stupid in the situation.

With regards to earlier comments, Dymatize XT Banana Nut is good IMO but I can see how some people would be offput by the slight chemical taste.

It might not be appetizing as a shake, but I dusted off my tub of Banana Nut today for proats and it hit the spot. It also expired a few months ago, so the flavor could get better with age.

This was in-store, though.

I can't come up with any advantage to paying more money at a store, unless you have a crush on the cute cashier and are looking for an opening to spark up a conversation.
