Not really, I put up $200 to buy a licensed version of Vbulletin and when you set it up right it just runs itself. I don't have to hardly do any moderation, there's about one spammer per week that I have to ban. Otherwise it's just great for getting repeat traffic and letting others generate SEO rich content for me. Plus it's one of those things that if you keep driving traffic to, in ten years time you could have a form that's generating 10,000 posts a day drawing in all kinds of traffic without you ever having to do a damn thing.
Explain your process for getting $60/1000 impressions. That seems absurdly high.

Don't think anyone ever answered, how strict is amazon when it comes to creating an image that leads to their site for a buy? For example they give you some crappy little image but am I allowed to replace it with my own that shows it in higher definition and says something like HEY BUY THIS CLICK HERE.

Why do you have to invest money in your own product? You can get something done in a day... I don't see the logic here having been in this game for awhile. If a product suits the site, why would you not do that from the beginning. I am trying to help you, I think I've been pretty successful and have experience to back my reasoning. However, suit yourself man
What.... have you ever even owned your own product? It's a breeze dude, complete automation for payments and delivery. Rarely any support either. I'm not sure what "all the hours and stress" you have to deal with are lol. For something that sells several thousand copies I maybe get 30 support tickets."People don't want to be millionaires... they want to experience what they think only millions can buy

well owning my own product isnt from my experience, but other people who sell certain software it seems like a lot to deal with. support apparently is a pain in the ass, theres the costs of development and updates, stuff like that....for physical products, i wouldnt even want to deal with shipping and distribution.
but my point is adsense is the easiest way to make money. everyone is diff but i started with adsense and thats where all my exp is in. for $60/1000 impressions, you gotta go for good niches. $60 isn't really that high. that's only $.50 cpc and a 12% ctr.
outsource a site with 50 pages of content, hire 5 filipinos for your own strategy of SEO and the rest is hands free. people who say adsense sucks are the ones who go for the "low hanging fruit" and make a few bucks. the money is in profitable niches.**New Jersey Crew 201**

You're right, but the most you can get per click is most definitely not $5, hear stories on IM forums all the time of gigantic clicks.
Just an example: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackha...e-account.html
Dude on first page with $80 click, dude on 2nd page with $103 click. (Although they are probably that high because the clicks converted, but theres tons of people in the thread with anywhere from $7-$50 clicks)
Gotta think outside the box with keywords..

The only problem with your theory is you hand control of your entire income to a 3rd party.
At any stage Google can change its algorithm, its terms of conditions, they could even ban you.
I'm not saying Adsense isn't great because I think it is but I will evenntually be moving to owning my own products a lot more. Giving me the power and control of my income.

When people say they build x pages like 10 pages, does that mean 10 total pages or 10 pages on google results (100 total)?
Cheers

This. Had an Adsense authority style site that was ranking top 5 for several competitive keywords roughly six months. Was pulling in rougly $40 - $80 a day (from Adsense/Affiliate offers). Google changed it's alogorithm, and within a day, my sites income went from that to $0. Nothing wrong with Adsense; just don't put all your eggs in one basket.

im pretty new to keyword researching.. not sure what numbers to look for but is this good? its a 3 letter keyword and there is a EDM available for it.
Competition: High
Global Monthly Searches: 6,600
Local Monthly Searches: 4,400
There's About 2,660,000 results in google, lol fail, and there's an authority site which is the main brand that is rank #1..
After typing all this, i realize it's probably NOT a good keyword. But still, can anyone explain a good setup for Google Keyword tool?-[Bench: 255x1]-

the number of results in google doesnt matter at all. The strength of the top 10 is what matters, and even moreso the top 3 since that is when you'll get significant traffic.
The competition in GKWT is ad competition, you want it to be high.

subdomains, youtube videos, amazon, ebay etc are usually easy to outrank. I like seeing them in the top 10 results.
Edit: Also is the "brand" in the first two results really targetting your primary keyword? (keyword in URL, Description, header etc), if its a root domain it will be harder to outrank.

These figures are exaggerated, ads are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them
People RARELY will get anything over $10 a click, regardless of what keyword
EDIT: not saying it doesn't happen, but there is noone out there getting $100 dollar clicks on the regular
