I am admittedly spoiled. When I first moved to CA, I lived in Newport so wasn't quite fully aware of the temperature disparity further inland until I needed to relocate earlier this year (and that was allegedly a "cooler" time of year). More than a bit extremely grateful when I managed to land a spot in HB. 1-1.5 miles from the beach--I'm good. <thumbs.up>
I feel for you. It was 120+ my last day in the South and I absolutely despise those temps (humidity sucks balls, too).

LOL dat bloodhound.
That's definitely always the trend. Figured you were in construction, but don't really know the real reason they book during the Summer time. Maybe it's because they wouldn't mind being away, while all the work is being done.
Very good! I frequent the 24hr Fitness at Bella Terra, or Main St. in H.B. during the Summer, so I can head to the beach after.Reps for life to ABB'ers thread.

LA here, Just joined March 2014 but got caught up with life and haven't had a chance to maneuver my way around this site.
Decided to jump online today & find some peeps in the LA area who are down to meet or maybe work out since I need it badly.
Gained a few pds. and need that Sh*t off asap... Haven't had much motivation which kills it for me.
Anyhow, just saying "What's Up"... and hope to get to know anyone close by..

Motivational get together's...
LOL Motivation I lack, thus why you have no clue what it is as it seems you have no issues with it
I currently live in Torrance, and I just found a hike up in the Palos Verdes area but it was too short and just lead to the beach/rocky area and that's really it. I need to find better hiking areas down here as I miss Griffith Park when I used to live in Burbank. The South Bay Sucks A$$ for hiking.
I'm down for any hiking get together's...
