I haven't done legs (squat rack misc) or plyo (box jumps misc) for two weeks now. But I've still been doing upper body in the weight room. I finally did some light deads (90lbs) yesterday pain free. I'll be super depressed when I see my vertical has suffered when I get back on the courts but I'm cautious not to re-injure and fully heal up. Swimming sounds like a good idea. I still need cardio. Repped.

Let injuries heal properly before training. I hurt my back doing deadlifts and gave it two months to heal before I did them again. Probably overkill but better safe than sorry.

Agreed, for a while even lifting my backpack onto my back brought on a mixture of burning and stabbing sensations, so being able to actually pick up something heavier that 20lbs is encouraging.

The thing with bunnies is, if you don't use them consistently, they tend to get a little rusty. But don't worry, it takes a few months before anything drastic happens.

I hear ya. The doc just recommended leg raises & heel raises as rehab until I feel like I can pound on the ground again. At least my gym has a huge heated pool. Minimal weight bearing while submerged.

haa I'm short (for vball) & I play on a men's net & in sand (coed net) so without vert I wouldn't be able to block... or do anything on the net. Then I see no point in playing. haha

Make sure you stretch, I would say, spend at least 10mins in the sauna and than stretch on the mats right after. That will help your muscles relax. But since you had a meniscus tear, take it easy. My knee cap use to pop out (It hasn't popped out in 6 years, keeping my fingers crossed.) Are you taking any joint supplements right now? That usually helps.
For the soreness I usually take BCAA or add some glutamine powder to my protein shakes, helps with the recovery process. Even though my whey protein powder already has glutamine in it, it doesn't hurt to put some extra in.

THIS! Very important, if you don't, you will end up messing yourself up even more. Just keep eating clean, and you should be fine.

I know what you mean, I feel like a freakin' bum right now. I haven't worked out in a week, hopefully I can hit the gym again on Monday. Hate waiting....stupid allergic reaction.
But on the other hand, rest is good for you. Since that's when you're muscles build.

I do Bikram yoga on sats (which is normally my rehab day from lifting) Stretching in 110+ degrees humid studio for 90 mins really gets things loose & I know I should rest up but I'm too antsy to stay at home and do nothing. & I do take both bcaa & glutamine. I also take multivitamins & lots of vitamins though in my mind I feel like they have more of a placebo effect. haha I take them anyway.
How did your knee stop popping? That's awesome. My right knee (good knee pops & makes weird noises all the time -_- )

Hey guys I just got done with my first 12 wk program and lost 41 lbs. Where should I go from here? Im guessing down a few more lbs over the next few months? Currently at 207 and no clue where bf sits. What direction would you go in if you were me?

Depends! If you want to slim down for the summer, go ahead and lose a little bit more. If you don't mind where you are right now, bulk up!

29min...takes me about that to do 3mi walking (well 32min last time). If I try to run it I'll be flat on my face in a few blocks. Lately my runs have been sucking, out of steam and out of air in a few blocks and sounding like a wind machine.
