anyone go to YMCA? I was at Nash's for a while and it was okay, but not that good.
I heard the Y is $50 a month and you can pay monthly, no contract, and offers a lot more. Will checkout this weekend. I live in gastown area. I heard Club 16 is good too but I don't think there is one too close to me.

imo you should just take the full 6 months foundation course. getting a job with no experience is almost impossible unless you have hook ups. where do you live? the waiting list at BCIT burnaby campus is 2 years so if you live in langley or surrey then you can take the BCIT course offered at a high school. its the exact same thing as the burnaby location except its at a high school. next starting date is around march i think so if you try applying now you might still get in.
majority of electrical companys prefer to hire level 1 apprentices who have done the foundations course. you could also then apply for the union once your done the course which has better pay and benefits

Yes, it really is. The sports club on Georgia and Bute? Probably about the same total floor space dedicated to weights, tbh. The layout is a bit weird. The full gym is nice for bball and stuff though. I never go before 8 pm, I just end up raging and leave. Especially right now with the damn resolutioners.

anyone else go to richmond oval? to anyone that does, do you feel that people there are retarded? brb paying top dollar for one of the finest gyms in BC. brb, spending the whole time doing chest flys, preacher curls, dumbell curls, tricep pushdowns, and using the only one smith machine. for anyone thats never been to the oval, there are 3 olympic lifting platforms with bumper plates, 2 other power racks, 2 benches, decline, incline bench, lots of free weights and sh!t loads of equipment that you can't find in other gyms. some of them get in my way too, and i seroiusly just wanna telll them to go home cuz they're wasting their time and their $$

Was puking for like 4 hours straight, had to leave work mid-day. Then the other end had it's turn, nomsayen. Luckily only lasted like 8 or so hours and after that just took like another 36 hours to get any appetite back at all. Gonna need to make up for dem lost cals and skipped gym sessions now

I'm pretty new to Canada, been in Van a couple of months now. I'm wondering where the best places to buy supplements are over here, either in store or online.

svncanada.com BY FAR best place.
true but the only supps you really need are beta alanine, caffeine, creatine, and protein. everything else is a waste. and those are of a comparable price to u.s. prices. relatively...Think you of the fact that a deaf person cannot hear. Then what deafness may we not all possess? ~ Dune
We need a new ideology with the core values of reason, honesty, science and secular progress over the older traditions of religion, superstition and dogmatic faith that have long defined humanity. We will never be free to progress and advance until the last stone from the last church is cast down onto the last priest. And every equivalent.
