I am a 6'5" aspiring BBer and it is good to see other tall guys competing and being successful. What is the deal with BBing and IT? Seems a lot of IT guys are also BBers in this thread. Senior software engineer here as well.

Rendering and uploading now.
This week I am deloading so nothing to report. 5's wave up next and I am excited about the progress.
Yes, during prep I am a creature of habit. BCAA's are a ritual and Xtend is so good when calories are low. Meals are based on how long I was awake so long days were 5 but shorter days would be 4 sometimes, although at the end of prep I was awake very early to eat, lol.Contest Prep Coach

Yeah i will try to get some more excitement in my videos.
It's a great mix!
Thanks.
Awesome.
I want some better software but I am learning new tricks all the time.
My parents live in Palm Harbor so I was there for Xmas.
Right now all I care about is hitting some PR's and perhaps running smolov here shortly. I want huge legs!
Thanks Alex.Contest Prep Coach

New Week Update.
Last week was a deload so nothing to report. I spend the weekend playing golf and relaxing on the beach with some friends. Now I am ready to start 5's wave and kick some butt. My lifts for this week are.
Accumulation Bench 250x5, 6 sets
Accumulation Squat 245x5, 6 sets
Accumulation Overhead press 130x5, 6 sets
Accumulation Deadlift 305x5, 6 sets
I am starting to think that after TJM is done i will run my first ever smolov cycle and focus on my squat since its by far my weakest lift.
I will shoot some video this week. Here is a fun video I made on the golf course of me and my buddy Eric. Check out our Crown Royal golf tip!

Incline DB Flyes

Low Cable Row

Standing DB Shoulder Press
45x8
Great night in the gym. After last week's deload which was a bit annoying but as always beneficial I was excited to use some real weight. If this night was any indication then I am glad I did it. My Bench sets got easier and easier as each one passed. I was pausing on set 6 each rep and still killing it so I am confident my pressing strength is returning.
Tonight is the squat 5's wave and it will be fun as well. No belt, no problem.Contest Prep Coach

Very interested in you running Smolov. I've considered it a few times but had a hard time getting past the fact that you have to essentially neglect the other core lifts and focus mostly on squatting. My legs aren't my weak point, so I'm considering potentially running Smolov (or is it Smolov Jr?) for Bench Press in an attempt to make some overall mass gains in my upperbody....

Some of the best gains I have ever made were when I was forsaking other bodyparts and just hitting one or two relentlessly. For example I used to just bench, Curl, incline bench, preacher curl, DB bench, Hammer curl....you get the idea. I threw in some triceps and shoulders every now and then.
Well it may not have been the best for my overall physique but my pressing has always been good since then.
I also notice that muscle i lose during prep comes right back in a few months so running smolov will not really hurt any of my other lifts. I will be doing some maintenance work for the rest of my body as well. I realize at this point of my lifting career I need to use extreme methods to add muscle. Hitting a muscle the standard way like i have done for 20 years is not going to get me any results.
I am interested too!Contest Prep Coach

You can always maintain by hitting them once a week while pounding other areas for a brief period.
I need to add strength and size. I want to rep 405...goal officially listed!
Thanks Big E.

Nice video, can't beat walking home from the gym.
On your video I see you use a pair of shoes for each exercise, can I ask what shoes you have?
