Tuition Assistance is back, same as before.
It is pretty messed up that the Air Force decided to cut TA in the first place. It took Congress to come back and tell the Air Force not to cut TA.

Ive used the chit out of TA for years, but honestly I'm ok with it going away. Is it a great benefit? Absolutely. But the GI Bill can be used to get a free education also. I transferred my GI Bill to my daughter, so if I want a Masters degree it will be out of pocket, but Im good with that. The AF paid for my Bachelors, IMO that should be enough. I will have a Masters by the time I get out, and I may even owe some student loans, but Im ok with paying for a portion of my own education

lawl... Tell her not to worry about AFG and that chances are good you'll be going to Syria, Iran or NK instead.
On a slightly more serious note, chances are good you won't be deploying for at least 2 years after basic, and even then chances are really good that you won't be going to AFG.3D072 - Cyber Systems Operations

fudge bb.com. I have solely purchased through them because of their awesome service, but they didn't send me a 20% off coupon when I signed up. will be taking my business else where. it's not the money, but the principal of the matter. someone who's been purchasing from you for 6 or 7 years shouldn't even need to sign up to begin with

My MPF office is literally the most asinine place... ever. (Not the people the procedures)
they sent me an Email a couple months ago saying that I need to have all my training complete and my line badge turned in prior to receiving my orders, but my out processing check list says I shouldn't be turning in my line badge until 14 days prior to my final out...
But I have to schedule an appointment with TMO by the end of the month, but I need orders to do that...
So my timeline is all kinds of fuked up...
I have to call them and see WTF I need to do.Starting weight- May 14 2011- 184

SM here: You take your base outprocessing checklist to your SM to sign you off saying you did it. But, of course you'll bring your line badge in to him/her 2 weeks out to properly "get rid of it." MPF only will see the SM signature on the checklist (or vMPF outprocessing checklist) since the SFS line badge turn-in receipt is stored by your Sq SM in a file cabinet anyways. That's how I've been doing it for the past couple of years, and haven't had an issue. It doesn't make sense that you turn it in that early when there is still time where you would need to use it at work.
Now, if your SM won't sign it off for you..then he/she is a douche. for reals.U.S. Air Force CE Troop since 1996 -- "We build, maintain, and protect."

Yes. Insane kinky. All the guys look like your pic in your avatar too. They usually walk slowly towards you, soaked in soap and hot water, making the same pucker kissy face squint eyes ready for action. If that's what you're looking for sign up!

Nah not really I rather fly around the world doing air land than do airdrop on a 130 and not leave the CONUS ever
You mad I'm going to airdrop school after my deployment BTW they dont qual you for airdrop if you PCS to Altus as an IL anymore. you have to get it sent to airdrop school by your unit and im sure you know there are only 2 bases that do airdrop for C-17s.Be polite, be professional, have a plan to kill everyone you meet.
