Hey all, I will be graduating in the summer with a 4 year degree in business/POL SCI minor.. What do I need to do to qualify for OTS?

I Have not spoken with a recruiter as of yet. But any information would be beneficial. Thanks

probably 3.7+GPA, max your physical fitness test and score 80%+ in the AFOQT.. as well as have some EC and LOR.

OTS is pretty tough to get into.. especially these days. Given that your degree is not in demand.... but your best bet is to talk to a recruiter.

Yeah, it sucks...

But seriously, are you going for the 14 or 30 day program? I was there for 30 days a few years ago. It wasn't all bad. Shot m4/m9 a lot, did land nav and a field exercise among a bunch of other bs. I'd say the worse part about it is being under G.O. 1 the whole time. Not sure if that's changed since then or not, though.

There is a local stuff through SAI like skydive, rock climbing if y'all are up to it.

$5 to rock climb
$90 to skydive
$100 for a weekend of cave exploration and grand rapids boating

Awards and Decs is suppose to have that information. Bring them either a PCS dec with the dates you were there or a set of your orders of while you are there. They can update as needed

haven't spoke with a recruiter in 3 months now. Is this normal? went to the office for a DEP meet today, but again, nobody showed up except me and 1 other kid. Not even any AF personnel there.
