Saw that footage of the F/A 18 in Virginia (i think) after crashing into the apartments. Dad used to fly Hornets in the RAAF. Stay safe brahs and mad respect.

hello usaf members!...i have some questions that hopefully you guys can help me out with...
i want to join the reserves in some type of medical field job for future experience
currently in community college right now working on prereqs for nursing program
my questions: will joining b4 i have completed my degree give me a higher rank because of college units?
how long can i expect to wait to even get sent to bmt if i talk to a recruiter this month if i tell him my situation?
how long is bmt + tech school usually for medical jobs?
do i live in the dorms for tech school?
thanks for the help in advanced!***Misc Strength Crew***

First page.
I'll try to answer this as best as I can.
-The rank you receive with college is based on how any credits you have, but the max rank you can enter with a degree unless you are going to be an officer is A1C.
-Your wait to get into BMT is based on the demand for the job you are trying to pick. If there is no demand you could be in the DEP (Delayed enlistment program for quite some time.
-BMT is 8 weeks long. Tech school can vary it all depends on the medical field you get into. Just do a quick google search on the job you want and it will provide you with more information. Here is the list of enlisted medical careers offered http://usmilitary.about.com/od/airfo...jobmedical.htm
- Yes you live in the dorms for tech schoolLast edited by liammac; 04-09-2012 at 03:07 PM.

How do you guys feel about TACP, training, possible civilian jobs. My dad(was Army) tells me it's an idiotic thing to do. I know it's dangerous and all, but it seems like a job that fits my interests.
I strive to be like myself because I know that I can always improve. If I sculpt my goals towards another persons, I will eventually reach it. No matter how far I advance, I will strive to be better than the previous day.

Logistics brah checkin in
To the ego, the present moment hardly exists. Only past and future are considered important. This total reversal of the truth accounts for the fact that in the ego mode the mind is so dysfunctional. It is always concerned with keeping the past alive, because without it - who are you?

My Equal list today
1 slot Peterson (YES ****ING PLEASE)
5 slots Cannon (FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU)
1 slot Luke (MUTHA FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU)
So what you see is my preference order. I honestly will be fine no matter where I go, I would just much rather Peterson.

In on that first page brahs.
Stupid stupid question. When is my initial EPR due?
When I first arrived at my duty station I was told 2 years.
Now I'm barely 1 year into my first duty station, and they're telling my supervisor and I to start getting it ready.
Is this right?!?! I seriously hope not. Otherwise hello Firewall 3 EPR.
If anyone knows for sure, please let me know. Every person I ask seems to give me a different answer. It's frustrating.
