My brother gained weight during basic... was similar to your stats, didn't lift before.
I also gained weight during basic.. lifted before..went in at 5"7 138 10%.. came out at 143. prob like 15% lol. We both ate like animals, kept most my strength though suprisingly.. lost muscle gained fat. Kept most strength. I had a huge plate of food and was done eating it all in like 2 minutes. When it came to MREs.. the first time you might not eat everything, by the end you are eating EVERYTHING including the dairy shakes or w.e nasty drink they come with.zombie survival Charlie squad

Agreed. They are always either just super awkward or cocky beyond belief.
Prior Enlisted are generally the coolest. Closely followed by recent OCS grads. Kind of weird when I'm talking to them and realize they are only a year or 2 older than I am. Makes me wonder where life went wrong. That is until I see them mission planning, and then I'm thankful for being a load lol.

The one thing that sucked about me losing so much weight was my dress blues. They fitted me while I was weighing in at about 160lb-165lbs...
Fast forward a year and I back to around 185 @11% and the **** didn't fit nice.
It's ok though, I just bought new stuff and it's been fine since then★cVc★

Hey guys,
I'm looking to start CLEPing classes to get my CCAF. Just a few questions regarding CLEPs though....
-If I study 30min to 1hr everyday, how long should it take (guesstimate) to get my CCAF? I'm a fairly decent test taker, and of course I still carry some credits from basic/tech school and stuff.
-I have a few years left in the AF.... can I transfer my CCAF to a university in Japan to work on my bachelors? (the school I'm looking at in Japan should be covered by the GI bill)

Research my username in this thread and see my posts about CLEPS/DANTE'S. I'd do it for you but I'm on an iPad and its annoying. Anyways. I've completed 7 CLEPS. Google free clep prep, instantcert, and degreeforum.net for excellent study guides. Ill try to find my post if you don't get to it.

Since we're talking about school....
When I do decide to get out and use my GI Bill, I want to goto a school in FL,TX or CA but my home of record is in FL. Does it matter where I decide to use it at , as long as the school accepts it?Reps For Fellow Military Brahs.

Myself and the 3 people below me seem to have an issue with you. Time to ask yourself why you feel the need to complain be histrionic needing to draw attention towards yourself.

Minus the Afghani ladies who managed towels and item-checkouts, all the gym employees at NKC in Afghanistan (while I was there at least) were swole.

Eh... I'm not digging the direction we're headed, but it's been decent to me. There are a lot of good opportunities in this field if you know your sh*t. Looking back I would have been a 2E2/3D1X2 if I had known better. Outside of that I've been stuck in the Intel world for over 7 years now and haven't touched base comm since so I have no idea how to do the bulk of my actual job.
You need to do yourself a favor and look up the most recent MKTS. It's a spreadsheet with survey results of what people believe to be the most important topics to know for that test cycle rated on a scale of 1-5. Study all the areas of the PFE rated 3.0 and higher and forget the rest (or skim the rest if you'd like). Using this method helped me score a 77 this year on PFE which was 16 points higher than my best ever.
On whether you should study your CDCs or not depends on your job. In my career field I do nothing with anything in my books so if I don't study (like last year) I do horrible.
Colorblindness will DQ you from a lot of jobs, but there are still quite a few decent ones left over.
Lifting won't hurt you, but focusing on cardio will be a good idea. Have fun being the road guard, though.

Haha holy moly. Those crews must be rackin up some nice per diem. Man, if I was you guys, I'd tell the V-Ops boys to take their sweet ol' time gettin that fire extinguisher. Make some serious cheddah.
Plus you'd make some friends over there. If I ever had a crew tell me to take my time with a P&D order, I'd probably poop myself and grin ear to ear.
