Can someone answer me this, about 3 months ago i dead lifted 500lbs. SO i moved up to 505 and failed, i worked at 505 for months, even tried different things like rack pulls and raised deadlifts to get the 505 pull. Last week i failed at 505 again, and now today i figured phuck it ill got for 510, and got it. How is this possible i failed at 505 and got 510.

Could of just been a state of mind and a pure energetic outburst on the idea to say eff it whatever lets try it. I remember one time i failed at picking up 500lbs off the floor with wraps on, and paced back and fourth for a few min and went back at it in a state of anger and picked it up with no wraps just out of pure energy put into the lift.

Rob,
your strength will vary as much as say 5% from one training day to the next, depending on sleep, recovery, mood etc.
It is not like you are a beginner who can simply add 5lbs to your big lifts every session.
Good work on pulling five plates and change!Beginners:

Beyond novice, 5 3 1 or see above:)
Unless it is obvious to anyone who isn't blind that you lift weights, you might still benefit from a little more attention to big basic barbell exercises for enough reps:).

Besides all of that...."saying **** it" and getting a mindset for a load can make you achieve it better than...."let's try this"...
Deads and squats vary from a workout to another with 30-40lbs.... If I feel i can't more, I don't....but in some days because of good rest, good food intake, mindset and all you can do wonders.
Look at this example....Sunday i trained with our former national Oly lifter the legs part.... i did my thing and he helped, he did his thing, but something felt wrong for him and he did the workout with roughly 60-75% of his normal workload...
And he is a pro at what he does....
.... Some days you surpass expectations, some days you lag behind....Nothing new under the sun.If your body cannot handle it, make sure sheer willpower will.....

You are talking about a difference of just 1%
You probably could have pulled the 505 if you had just gone and taken a crap before you attempted the lift.My Journal (RIP 05/11 - 09/13):
