Get well soon OP. We are looking forward to the Hilton project and Atlantis renovations on the old towers. I think Baha Mar will get resolved soon it's too close to completion and Sarkis will cave.

So whats the deal with Baha Mar? On strike? Not being completed? I'll be going down in a couple months...wasn;t sure if it would be done.

Not sure what the latest is on it. Really sucks because it should have been open from last year November. Every seat you hear about some new deal. IMO, they should have been smart and did what Atlantis did and open it 1 phase at a time. They went and tried to do it all one time and can't open any of it while Atlantis is booming!

Man those lobsters look jooooocy as phuck. Just got back from the Dominican Republic and learned that the Atlantic side of the Island isnt the same water as the Caribbean side. Shore was over come with sargassum seaweed! Had a wicked smell also. OP keep these buriful pics coming!

Will be at Atlantis for the 14 year in a row. Was hoping Baha would be done....ah well.

dem lobs...hnnnnng. Wld srsly go HAM during lob season and eat it year round every meal. I hate Maine lob....but LOVE rock lob.

OP you hear of an accident that happened about 3 weeks ago involving a yacht, a dingy, and a dead kid found floating in the water from Texas?

Anyway, a friend of mine (kind of) owns that million dollar yacht and he was gone when he son's bff who was helping him watch the yacht took the dingy to shore and then they found him dead the next day

Lmao!! That's crazy!! Didn't even notice that haha!! I'll have to ask him what's up with that. He did get that many though. He has a pen in his canal where he puts some in and feeds them until they get real fat as well as fish. He posted a video a while back on ******** of him diving in his pen feeding them.

Wow! I really let this thread die!! Been crazy busy since going back to work after my back surgery. I will keep this thread up to date though and try pop in regularily.

Thanks! I did auto sound and security for 16 years and then had to throw in the towel because I needed back surgery. My wife's uncle had been trying to get me to come work for his company for a while so I finally took the job and I'm their Project Manager so I've gone from manual labor to an office job. :-/

nice. I went on a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas years ago and loved it. sucked because it was only a 5 day, 4 night cruise and there wasn't enough time in the day to really appreciate the island.

Not until I pay off this house lol. A lot of our close family has boats though so we are usually out quite a bit. The last time we went was 2 weeks ago.

how expensive is it to live / retire there? wouldn't mind relocating there; Hawaii (Oahu) is great but too commercialized and not worth the price to live in paradise. other islands are nice but not many high paying jobs
