quick question on pyramid
O.K. been doing some reading and got a question. I want dense err dence heck i don't know, but anyways i guess thats 2 questions lol. muscles. So a pryamid workout would be best. so what is too much? 16 14 12 10... down to 2 but I know I would be burnt out, thats just an example.. I was thinking 12 10 8 4 2. Is this decent, or should i judge it by how much weight i lift on my last rep?

In my opinion starting at 16 would be excessive, you would burn a significant amount of energy b4 you get to your last set. I would stick with option B you have there if you're going to do it.

That's close to what I do...12,10,8,6,4. On the main muscles like pec, lats ect.. I add 20lbs per set and 10lbs for others and lift to fail... with about 1 min between sets.

Yeah, stick to option B. For strength and hypertrophy training, it's a little excessive.

I do Reps: 10, 8, 6, 8, 10 i think this is a good mix of strength and hypertrophy training! (obviously going up in weight and then back down again)
Is this a form of pyramid training? i was never told lol n i thought it was.

yeah it is, but you might be better off continuing at the weight you did 6 and try to do another set of 4-5, then do only one burnout set.

No, then a last set at a lighter weight for 10-12. pumps out waste, pumps in fresh blood, and stretches outer sheath of muscle so it can grow and fill in.
