I will be taking 5 grams creatine every day starting tommorrow? i currently drink a half a gallon of water a day. is this enough for 5 grams creatine? is 5 grams too much for a 15 year old who weighs 112 pounds? should i take creatine with cranberry juice?

A gallon of water at your weight will be good, do not listen to these people that say it doesn't matter what you take it with. If you take it with water, slow digesting carbs etc. you are wasting your creatine as there is fast digesting carbs to provide an insulin spike which will allow the creatine to be 'sucked up' into your muscles. So yes, take it with your cranberry juice or any other fruit juice high in fast digesting carbs (aswell as food such as bananas, a chocolate bar as you can get away with it post workout to replace lost glycogen, but stick to fruit juice 8 fluid oz ideal) Take it after a workout as your muscles will be worn down as will be susceptible to soak any nutrients up. You should be taking a fast digesting carb after your workout to replenish glycogen stores anyway so take advantage of it and take your creatine then. And on off days take in the morning.
