For this link, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltrcyTxLhqk, do:

If you do this, it looks like this:
Alternately, you can just do:

But the result doesn't look as good, at least not in my browser...
Hope this helps...

[QUOTE=TXBRASS;863626961]Ur correct....I just meant that working with smaller steel and detailed work it is easier FOR ME...ha! I guess it's what I know and am comfortable with....
My dad does a lot of stainless work with a new TIG machine and he swears by it.... I've never attempted it, but he said its the way to go as far as versatility.....
He (dad) just built me this 100% stainless steel BBQ pit using TIG and MIG set for SS.....
[QUOTE=twodog;863620591] Hey TXBrass, that's a beautiful job that your dad did on the bbq pit, something to last for years. As far as welding goes, I was taught on stick and am pretty good with it, I've also used a torch alot for brazing and cutting. I got a mig a little while ago and really like the fine, clean work it does. But I have to change my style over from stick to mig to make things look better. Your welds are nice. I've used a tig, but have no access now, and you need to practice on that to become proficient.
Once again, nice stuff coming from you and your dad, kudos !"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do, than by the ones you did" Mark Twain

My version of the Prowler. Rusty, not painted...ugly......used flux core wire on it and didn't even brush off the welding residue. lol But I drag and push that thing all over the yard.

Rack mounted Reverse Hyper. It will adjust to almost every power rack, wide or narrow. The rack pictured is not a full rack, it was just something I used as a mock up.

You make some very solid technical kit HNH. Nice heavy spec metal too. I'm drooling.

Below are a two examples of some stuff made from wood. I'd like to think that these projects were made well.
Belt Squat Platforms
I made some platforms for doing belt squats. Here is what they look like in action:
I was asked about the strength of these boxes. They guy who asked me about it thought that they might break should I use enough weight.
I piled all the plates that I owned at the time onto one of these boxes, which was 465lbs, focused entirely on a 4.25 inch diameter circle in the middle of the box (which should be its weakest point). Here's what it looked like:
More details and more photos are in the post, Squat Platform Load Test.
Here's a photo of the interior of the box. Note that it's internally braced with 2x4s both at the top and at each side corner.
Finally, here is a photo of one of the boxes by itself:
Deficit Deadlift Platform
I've also built a shorter platform for doing deficit deadlifts with my trap bar. Full details and more photos can be seen in the post, Trap Bar Squat / Deadlift Platform. Here are a few of the photos from that post:

Reps on their way to HNH, OsoF, KBKB. The quality of your projects is awe inspiring.
OsoF: What did you use for the upholstery? Is it some kind of wadding? It looks nice and dense. Good job. There seems to be a lot of talk on the sissy squat around here these days, I've never done them, am I missing out?
HnH: I'm very impressed with your use of bearings on the bench press machine. Do they have a particular trade name? I'm interested in making a wrist roller set up with them one day.
KBKB: Great work on the platforms, thanks for contributing them here. Crew number 14 is up for grabs if you want it.My training log:

Thanks! Quarter inch thick felt pad layered on top of a onch inch foam for the backboard. Then i took a strip of the same felt pad and rolled it up. Was gonna wrap the rollers up with vinyl. But thought of the hassle and passed kn it. First time ever doing SSquats last night. Feeling it today: more hams then quads. Feels good and comfortable to do em. U Maybe missing out lol
