I feel like I'm rushing things and expecting results too fast.. losing motivation.
I think I will attach a towel to the bottom 3/4 of my mirror and not remove it until june
I spend too much time posing and trying to see if I lost anything

at least 200 g daily. going as high as 1.5 g per lb of lbm has its benefits on a cut.
same brah, feels terrible.... i look in the mirror after waking up and weighing in hoping to see immediate change. if i don't see what i like, my mind starts telling me that i'm going to lose too much muscle, cutting's not worth it, and that i should go back to a bulk. have only cheated on my diet once though in the past 3.5 weeks of dieting and it was only over maintenance by about 1,200 calories, and i needed it after a heavy chest day.
i'm down 3 or 4 lbs in 3.5 weeks which is perfect, and keep reminding myself that the fat is coming off areas which aren't that visible (back, legs, ass, etc.)... i know this because my jeans fit better, my tear drop on my quads is coming out better, etc.
can't wait till the end of summer when i'm lean for the first time... thinking i will need to get down to 155 or 160 lbs to be 10%. i don't want to go any lower than that, i'll probably start another bulk at that point
keep trucking brahs, and remember.... the time is gonna pass regardless of what you decide to do, so make decisions which you will thank yourself for in the future...Last edited by ghattanj; 05-09-2012 at 08:43 PM.

problem is I do cardio/lift 14x a week and I'm putting in 200% effort into this cut.. I'm dropping weight and getting stronger but I feel like I'm at that stage of bf % where it's hard to see change
maybe I'm expecting too much, whatever.. will keep on keeping on though

Goddamn it I ****ing hate living in dorms. I'm supposed to lift early in the morning, but these stupid mother****ers come home at 3.30-4am making a ****load of noise just because it was some sloots birthday. I end up waking up too late and always end up doing my cardio/lifting in the afternoon. Thank god I'm done with dorms next year.

yeah I started doing that, works much better. used to record weight every day, look at progress, and take progress pics once a week.. a lot easier to just weight in once or twice a week just to get an idea, and see where I'm headed. even if you're making really good progress, you still keep working hard because you don't know how far you've come yet
