Tips on Eating during school?
I'm in high school and with all my classes and band practices i find it hard to commit to the diet i need to. Does anyone else run into this problem? do you have any tips on things i could eat, or how to manage this better? i'd hate for school to keep me from my lifting goals.

Check out leangains.com mate, it's good stuff for those that need to juggle meals into restrictive schedules. I'm loving it.

Meal timing is largely irrelevant in terms of body composition. Simply eat whenever you get the time.

What do you mean by quality food? Why do you feel the need to eat while at school? Would a large breakfast, a snack during school and then your remaining calories when you get home from school fit your lifestyle easier? If so, do that.

Disregard this. Food is Food.
Now @ your question. I assume your among the misinformed who think you need 6-8 meals a day in order to make gains, but you don't. Just eat a bigger breakfast and or bigger dinner.

no i know i dont have to have exact meals as long as im eating enough calories. its just hard for me to find enough food that isnt just plain sweets to eat. or in general just time to eat enough food.

Hunger Aint Worth a ShìT.
Please don't do it, i'd rather suggest 3 square meals/die or IF.
I used to bring 2 sandwiches with some protein inside, and eat twice in between classes...no wonder I was a social pariah. And it was even useless!
Food Porn leads to less Bodyfat, study shows:

Be consistent with cardio, act like me, I skip it EVERYDAY!
Can one weekend of bad eating really ruin a week of dieting? Well, can one quick trip to Vegas ruin 2 months of saving? Same thing basically.

It shouldn't have to OP. Its very easy to hit your macros even with school on.
I do leangains, so I save time by not eating breakfast.
On low carb days I'd bring 100g of nuts and maybe a bit of fruit.
On high carb days I'd just bring a few sandwiches and a couple of apples/pears.
Ofc you probably don't have low/high carb days... just bring something easy and quick to eat. A few sandwiches, a couple of pieces of fruit, etc. It won't taste as good as the junk food most kids our age eat nowadays but you have to let that stuff go if you want to achieve your goals.
You don't have to eat a whole load of protein during school. You can take care of your protein requirement when you get home.

Well then leangains sounds like it'd suit you. Google it and check the leangains guide. Also as long as you hit your macros and eat enough wholefoods, there's no problem with eating 'junk' to fill up the rest of the required cals.

If you think you're going to get hungry, eat a bigger breakfast, and why not pack a snack? Sandwiches, nuts, protein shake, protein bar, rice cakes with PB, etc....
