Is there a significant difference between 40/40/20, or 50/30/20, or even something crazy like 30/20/50
Since meal timing is now debunked, has nutrient ratios been debunked as well? Does it really matter all that much as long as you're eating a wide variety of healthy food?

Importance of nutrient ratios vs total calories
I've gained and lost over 100lbs more times than any man alive should. Do as I say and not as I do.

If you're using ratios to determine macronutrient intake, then you're doing it wrong.
To determine how to set macronutrient intake properly, please see: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=121703981

Macronutrient NeedsOnce you work out calorie needs, you then work out how much of each macronutrient you should aim for. This is one of the areas that is MOST often confused but This should NOT be based on a RATIO of macro intakes. (eg: '30:40:30 or 40:40:20') Your body doesn't CARE what % intake you have. It works based on SUFFICIENT QUANTITY per MASS.I've gained and lost over 100lbs more times than any man alive should. Do as I say and not as I do.
