Went to last nights game with my GF. A F'ing bargain, after all was said and done under 50$ for two tix in the 202 section (we sat over in the bleacher creature section 203) eventually after the 3rd inning got to the seats in the infield 1 section above field level. Awesome atmosphere for a weeknight game against the Marlins, especially when A-Rod got walked on 4 pitches and the crowd felt like they got robbed on seeing 3,000. Stanton is a beast, I blinked and the ball was well over the left field fence. The new kid playing center, Williams looked very good especially for only being 22-23. Beltran actually hit a HR, McCann looked very solid, DiDi even looks like he has calmed down at short. A-rod's swing looks better than it did in 2010-2013. The only GLARING waste of space seemed to be Drew (at least offensively, he looked fine on D). Overall fun as hell and even got some Thurman Munson bobble heads for being one of the first 18k. Maybe it's because it was against the Marlins, but I don't ever remember Yankee stadium letting you sit in the 250-350$/ticket section (maybe more) at any point in the game without checking your ticket each time. I guess if your with someone else and you go to a wide open spot they really DGAF... Anyways we need some relief pitching Bad BAd BAD! I hope we go that route sooner rather than later!

I don't even know what to say about this year... I can't complain, but damn... If we were able to have Tanaka even at 80% of what he once was and CC pitching better than 25% of what he once was, Pineda not having his inevitable disaster games after a gem performance we would be killing it. At the same time when the pitching is locked down we seem to go on hitting slumps... Elsbury and Miller returning will be a nice welcome to 2 positions of need (Betances is closer material, but having that 8-9 almost guaranteed locked down is much more comforting). In all reality if we had our starters healthy, add an arm or two to the BP, and replace Drew at second with a guy whose batting average is higher than his bodyweight I honestly don't see any flaws if we stay healthy... It's just that "Everyone clicking at the same time" feeling we need, and no more injuries... Tanaka has got me worried...

Betances just allowed his first homerun of the season, letting the Rays tie it up in the top of the 9th. Das not it.
Edit: Dat fighting spirit doe, good ending. Das it Yanks.Last edited by mkx1775; 07-04-2015 at 12:53 PM.

11 runs in one inning? Is this real life? Very interdasting game so far.
Felt bad for Capuano in the first inning, should've pulled him sooner but at this point it doesn't even matter.*** Extreme OCD crew *** (brb bench press not parallel to the ceiling beams)
