Two games in, and Starlin Castro is already part of New York Yankees history. It's a small part, and not a terribly significant part, but Castro's seven RBIs through the first two games of his Yankee career are the most by any player in franchise history,*** Extreme OCD crew *** (brb bench press not parallel to the ceiling beams)

Hard for me to get on board with this, but it was time. I hope these prospects pan out or atleast can be used as trade pieces next July.

I'm pumped, not gonna lie the past few years it's been hard for me to watch The Yankees. I really don't like anyone on the team. Theyve been mediocre and every trade deadline we bring in a few pieces that don't really matter.
I miss the team from the 90's and early 2000's. Derek Jeter, MO, Bernie Williams, Tino Martinez, Paul O'Neill, Andy Petite, David Cone/Wells etc. The team had heart and personality. It was built around the farm system. The team we have now are just a bunch of over paid washed up bums. It's time to move on ans build this team from scratch. No more signing 30+ year old players to long term deals. The successful teams now build from within and add a few key FA signings.
Let's re-tool and wait until the 2018 off season. We will have all those bloated contracts off the book for the GOAT free agent off season. Between our farm system and FA signings we could be set for the next decade.

Very excited for the next 2 seasons, so happy with the trades so far. Hard to see Miller go but his trade will help secure our future. Thank you Miller!

It kept games interesting up until mid September so I was always hooked. Prospects are prospects. We don't know whats going to happen. Miller was a pros pro. I hope all these deals pan out and I'm sure they will, I'm thinking 2016 right now even though I should be thinking 2017-2018.
