Can't afford gym and fixing up my 'home' gym in my garage. I got 225+ lbs worth of weights (at the moment) and this is enough for me to do some decent workouts with chest and squats for now till I buy some more weights
I need a barbell bench that has a seperate squat stands, but my budget is £200, i know its not a lot but i cant be paying £50 a month for my nearest gym, and the local council one is so piss poor i think i have more weights than them....
so Yeah 200 quid is the budget but i want a sturdy one, i know its asking for a lot for the price.
Anybody have good reliable experienced knowledge on what to buy for the price range, ive done a lot of research atm and seems the ones under 150 aint that reliable or cant hold much weight.
any ideas? appreciated!
I been lookin at this, a little over budget but I can take that

Power racks and squat stands come up on ebay all the time in virtually unused condition.
I don't know your situation, but to make life easier for you, how about taking the money that you would have spent on a years membership? Most gyms are about 350 quid, which will give you even more options. My training log:

Just checked your link....please don't buy that bench.
Stick with bodysolid, powerline, or powertec and you won't go wrong. My training log:

Its not too bad, but to be honest you would be much better off just buying a good squat rack/stands this time round, and buying a good bench when you can afford it. Buy cheap buy twice, especialy with fitness kit.
....the exclusion to the rule is buying off ebay.. Trust me, get yourself on there. My training log:

As far as benches go, this is pretty good for the money.

unless you can find it used, for 200 i think this is the best you can get in uk, but a full rack is always better if you have space..
