You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

Ivanko Hex Dumbells
Does anyone know where I might be able to find a set of 35 & 45 # hex dumbells ? My gym just became another Planet Fitness victim. I bought all the hex dumbells that they had. Unfortunately the last week it was open someone swiped the 35 & 45's. The owner replaced them with a pair of rubber CAP's but I would like to get the matches for the set. I believe they are at least 25 yrs old. I would post a pic however from what I have read I don't believe I can as this is my first post. After I cleaned them up and painted them they look pretty good. I've been reading posts in here for a couple months but just registered this week. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks for the detailed explanation . I don't seem to get the advanced option when I'm on my phone. I'll try when I get back to my PC. Thanks again for taking the time to explain . Hopefully I'll have better luck with my PC.

Ivanko just took care of me too.
A nice stack of 1.25lb O-series plates came today. Hopefully these can help me out with my sticking overhead press.
Crappy picture but you get the idea. I need to wipe down all of my plates so maybe I'll get some better pics sometime.[̲̅$̲̅(̲̅ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°̲̅)̲̅$̲̅] Equipment Crew #57 [̲̅$̲̅(̲̅ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°̲̅)̲̅$̲̅]

Yeah, they do seem pretty large for being such a light weight.
My Ivanko OM 2.5lb'ers are 6.5" diameter and the 1.25lb'ers are 5.25".
1.25 in front of 2.5 in front of 5 in front of 10.
1.25 on top of 2.5
I was really getting attatched to the 2-tone of a heavily used/patina'ed Ivanko plate but the brand new finish is gorgeous in it's own way. Hmmm.. Just tell me that that these stupid little plates have not just initiated a quest to match 800lbs to a couple of tiny plates.[̲̅$̲̅(̲̅ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°̲̅)̲̅$̲̅] Equipment Crew #57 [̲̅$̲̅(̲̅ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°̲̅)̲̅$̲̅]

So a few months back I got a whole set of the O2b series plates. Painted them the rosemary hammered and painted the letters almond white. They look sweet but there was still a few imperfections in the plates. I came across on CL a set of what I believe is just the O series plate. There was no marking around the hole on the back side of the plate but they were the normal Ivanko greenish color. I painted these up and man I'm so much happier with them. So now I'm going to sell the first set and have the O series plates with no money out of pocket due to flipping.
Hope you enjoy the pics.
On the tree: The 45' have the markings on the back: Ivanko Barbell Company...
The new 35's with a fresh coat on the letters... gotta say with the letters that less paint is more so it doesn't run down the embossing...
The next 3 pics are the plates that I'm selling:
So my total is: 4x45, 4x35, 2x25, 6x10, 6x5, 4x2.5, 4x1.25Last edited by southpawbk; 12-07-2012 at 06:52 PM. Reason: pics didn't link correctly

southpaw, I absolutely love your color scheme.. You managed to keep authenticity while still adding a personalized flair.

I think the "original" O series is discontinued. There are still a few of the O plates on in the clearance section. I think the OM series replaced them.

The O2B series are "2nd grade". See quote below. http://www.ivankobarbell.com/products/02b/
