Does anyone have the "economy" OB-86-30mm? I was poking around on the Ivanko website, and looking at pictures of the bar it seems like the knurled area is very narrow; it doesn't travel very close to the sleeves.
Seems odd. Looks like a nice bar though; however the OBT-20 isn't much more dollars.

Rescued 350 lbs of of Ivanko's:
Four - 45's, Two - 35's, Two - 25's (All Unbranded)
&
Four - 10's, Two - 5's that came with the Unbranded Set.
Here's a single 45 before and after a little work.

You're not the 1st to ask and you won't be the last. Most "standard" plates are not Ivanko. dieselmike's plates are early Ivanko O series --sometimes called "unbranded Ivanko".
Lots of companies marked their plates "Standard". And there are lots of plates that look similar but not exactly the same.

EX-T.... I was going to wait till they were all cleaned up before taking a "group photo" of the 350 lb set. But with my busy schedule that may take a while. In the meantime, here's a few in the condition I found them. You will see the 45's, 35's and 25's all say "Olympic Standard Barbell". The 10's and 5's say nothing other than the number, which is still how new ones look today. None of the these plates have the word "Ivanko" anywhere on them. We just know they are.

To clarify, I'm talking about the hub on the front of the plates, on non-M series unbranded plates. The stamping doesn't seem to be consistent. I have some that are clearly stamped "IVANKO," while others are not centered on the hub and thus only the top part of "IVANKO" is stamped. Others have only "IV" or "IVA" or "VA" and the like stamped on them.

I posted some pictures on the previous page of this thread (post #4035) that include some 45s with "IVANKO" stamped on the hubs. I'll have to go through some of my other plates to find other examples and take some pictures. I actually didn't notice most of them until I started cleaning them up.

A lot of nice oldies turning up!!
I mention the "Ivanko" and "Taiwan" casting on the hub in posts 2864 and 2868. It wasn't cast well on that example and sometimes only a few letters are legible. I've seen better examples now. Your example was cast very well.
Here's a slightly better example:

Aaah... Now I remember reading that post. At the time I didn't own any Ivankos. So I guess I couldn't visualize it. Thanks for digging that back up. The 4 rusted unbranded I recently acquired shows no signs of that. Maybe rust completely got to it. I did spot it on some of my other plates. Like your example, only few letters are visible.
