Found a nice pack of Ivanko OM: 6x20 Kg, 8x15kg,2x10kg, 5x5 kg (so I bought a new other one in order to have pairs) 2x1.25 kg, & 2x 2.5lbs + 4x25kg RUBO.
All was in average condition & a bit rusted but find such Ivanko 400kg pack here in France for 600€ is somthing you can't miss.
I took the time to make a comparaison between those OM kg plates & my OMC plates. If OM 5kg, 10kg & 15kg have very precise weigth on a 100g scales, (outer diameter and thickness are very different from 10, 25 & 35lbs OMC) the weight and dimensions between 45lbs OMC & 20kg OM are exactly the same: 45lbs/20.4kg on scales. 1.25kg OM & 2.5Lbs OM are exactly the same too.
So until now, I've found:
OM (Kg): 6x20, 8x15, 2x10, 6x5, 2x1.25
OM (Lbs): 2x2.5
OMC (Lbs only) : 2x45, 4x35, 6x25, 4x10
RUBO (Kg) : 8x25, 4x20, 8x5, 6x2.5, 2x1.25
OUEZ (Kg) : 4x20, 2x15, 4x10
ROEZH (kg): 4x20
+ an OBX 20kg.

Thanks a lot. I'm a bit lazy to go straight to 50 posts, saying nothing...
I'd like to see the difference in pratice between old CBP and these new version. Aesthetically, the iron heart hole reminds me Eleiko ones.(And a lot of others brands nowadays like Pandlay, Werksan, ATX, Rogue....)
Thanks a lot. I'm currently working to open my own gym. It's not complete yet, but here's a quick overview:
i.imgur.com/VPhQ3nu.jpg
For 3 years now, everytime I can, I buy quality equipment only, most of the time used ones. Actually the only brand news were an Eleiko Curl bar, An Eleiko PL Competition bar, Ivanko OBX 20kg, and OUEZ, ROEZH & less than 20kg RUBO sets.
As I said before, the OMC set was completly unexpected to find here in France.
I've took pictures to make full comparisons between those plates:
1) OM 1.25Kg/2.5LBS:
To be exact, I can't confirm 2.5 LBS plate are Ivanko ones, because unlike the OM 1.25kgones, they bear no inscription indicating the brand:
i.imgur.com/CZP90HE.jpg
i.imgur.com/poOuFXL.jpg
(the OM 1.25kg were awfully painted in blue, so I've rapidly clean them with acetone, explaining why there still some blue paint on them.)
2) OM 5kg/OMC 10Lbs
An old one, the new one and the OMC 10lbs:

3) OM 10kg/OMC 25Lbs/OUEZ 10Kg
i.imgur.com/UavFhDH.jpg
i.imgur.com/iBqbtH9.jpg
i.imgur.com/9NAW5sM.jpg
4) OM 15kg/OMC 35Lbs/OUEZ 15Kg
i.imgur.com/sDP6Ftm.jpg
i.imgur.com/HYZzAIh.jpg
i.imgur.com/u3vzgjh.jpg
i.imgur.com/1kZogOE.jpg
5) OM 20kg/OMC 45Lbs/OUEZ 15Kg (& RUBO & ROEZH 20 kg)
i.imgur.com/s3qcXdm.jpg
i.imgur.com/BXVTEna.jpg
i.imgur.com/TEp8MOG.jpg
The difference between OMC 45 & OM 20Kg seems extremely tight. With a caliper, I've noticed a difference of 1 mm thickness (3.9mm thickness on OMC45, 3.8 on OM20Kg) but scale on which I've checked their respective weight isn't precise enough to see if it affects their weight, unlike the OM15kg & OMC 35 ones where the difference is obvious.

Nice, thanks for the photos!
I´ve only ever seen photos of the Lbs version before and I didn´t know the smaller KG plates had the Ivanko name cast onto the front like that (I know they do in Japan as I posted pictures before).
I wonder why they don't put the Ivanko name onto the smaller Lbs plates - seems strange they don't brand the Lbs version in the same way. It´s funny the way Ivanko market the plates in Europe, they don't do any specific KG images for retailers to use, although the dealers generally only have the KG versions no one ever shows photos of the KG versions - On sites that sell Ivanko they put a Lbs plate image for kg plates - Lazy IMO, especially when the KG plates actually look different to the Lbs plates.▪██─────██▪ Ivanko Barbell Crew #75 ▪██─────██▪

Metal Cores of Ivanko
So all the OBP have the inner metal ring now.. I didn´t even know that. When did this happen? Agathomax - Wondering where you got that image from?
Seems strange the way Ivanko don't update their site to reflect these product changes/upgrades.... I just bought a set of Eleiko WL Plates because I thought the 15kg disc was the only Ivanko to have the metal core, I didn´t want one plate to have the metal core and the others to not…. I could only go by what the Ivanko site said - I also couldn't understand why they only upgraded the 15kg plate to have the insert, it didn´t make sense to me, and no-one ever came up with a reasonable answer as to why.▪██─────██▪ Ivanko Barbell Crew #75 ▪██─────██▪

In the second pic of this http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...post1262484791 post (where the guy is holding the sleeve), which is the bushing; the metal colored part following the snap ring or the black part beyond that?

Count me in Just bought the Ivanko OBX-20KG The Powerlifting Bar.
quick question. Ivanko recomends using WD-40 on the middle portion of the bar. The Rouge guys recommend 3-in-1 oil for their black bars, but say WD-40 will suffice. (not talking about the bearings..just the bar).
What do you guys think? 3-in-1 gonna be better?
Thanks!!!

Wd-40 is better for cleaning since it has mineral spirits but I never liked the feel of it, I would have to really clean it off after. 3 in 1 does everything wd40 does except displace water and after wiping it off the bar it doesn't seem to have that wd40 feel. The smell of wd40 in my gym would just suck also, 3 in 1 has less of an odor.

Guys can you help me out here? Here are some pics originally uploaded by obey46. I'm reuploading them.
Here I've marked what I think to be the bushing with the red arrow. However what confuses me is the black part I've pointed in green. If the black part is how it looks then it must surely make contact with the bar. Below is another angle.
Here I've marked the black part with the red arrow. It looks like the inside of the sleeve has gotten narrower here.
But this pic below shows the part where the bushing has contacted the bar (Marked with the red arrow). This is right behind the snap ring groove telling me that my earlier presumption of where the bushing is located is correct
Here below is a pic of the inside of a Pendlay sleeve. There seems to be a similar reduction in inner dia of the sleeve at the place I've pointed. However in this case it is quite possible that the pic was taken before the bushing was fit inside the sleeve.
So can someone please tell me what is going on here?
Thanks.
