I disagree with you guys, but I'm not a sentimental, sappy, sensitive type of person at all. To me birthdays mean you're just another day older. Christmas and Thanksgiving are no big deal; they're just anniversaries of events. So the earth has made 734,883 rotations since the alleged birth of a guy we can't even prove ever existed. Terrific. On my 28th birthday why would I celebrate that the earth has rotated 10,227 times since my mom crapped me out of her vagina?
Seriously, though, I get it. Holidays are days to spend with family or friends. Well, if you gotta work, do it another time. Saturdays are usually good for that.

no one is playing better
Their biggest obstacle: ost likely wont have ANY home games in the playoffs (SF plays Cards next week for division title)
7-0 at home BUT 3-5 on the road
-Cant believe the owboys are still alive OR that the Gmen continue to struggle and played their way out of the playoffs the last 2 weeks.
-Can't understand how bad Pats looked this week against the Jags.
-Ditto for the Texans vs the Vikes
-Broncos playing best in AFC as of mow. Peyton will win MVP if AP doesnt break 2,000 and Vikes miss playoffs.
-McElroy proved he was better than Sanchex but also that he isnt a real starting QB. Prediction: Vick is starting for NYJ in September 2013, Sanchez is back but on the bench, McE is 3rd and Tebow is in Jacksonville. Alex Smith to Minny?

How many QBs in the league would look like a starting QB if they got sacked 11 times, close to an NFL record? Not saying McElroy is or isn't one but that offensive line is ugly.
Also, Alex Smith to Arizona. Arizona is definitely picking up one of the QBs. Some have said Vick but I think Smith would make a better fit. I also think Vick at NY is the worst team he could possibly go to. His production has been terrible because he's been under duress so much (amongst the highest if I recall). If he's going to go somewhere where they allow 11 sacks then Vick is going to blow hard.“Go back?" he thought. "No good at all! Go sideways? Impossible! Go forward? Only thing to do! On we go!" So up he got, and trotted along with his little sword held in front of him and one hand feeling the wall, and his heart all of a patter and a pitter.”

Yeah, I have been to a few Hawks games and it is indeed ridiculous (but a blast though). What makes it so sweet is that these 2 teams have always played each other tough no matter how much better one team was that season. This was actually a huge surprise to me but I don't expect anything even close to this score if they meet in the playoffs, niners had an off night.

^^ I agree!! Both the competitions for the first-round byes for AFC and NFC (disregarding Atlanta) are frikin close! I'm banking on Green Bay getting the other bye and at least Denver getting one of the two AFC byes (i mean, they are gonna play the Chiefs out of all teams so lol ).
Anyone see New York and LA play? With the Laker's winning against Golden State and NY with Nash back, maybe it's a sign for a comeback part of the season?"The Will to Win means nothing without the Will to Prepare."

Christmas Special NFL: Rankings Update
The In-tier
1. Atlanta- best record, and two complete games in a row. Hitting their stride at the right time.
2. Denver- 10 wins in a row by an avgerage of 2 Touchdowns. Bye week all but sealed
3. GB- Should have a bye in the bank if not for the blown call by the replacement refs. Not a complete team but a dangerous one.
4. Sea- Clinched a playoff spot and as hot as any1. The problem: They are 7-0 at home but 3-5 on the road and WONT have a home game in the playoffs.
5. NE- a loss and then struggling victory against the lowly Jags. They are dangerous potent but certainly not hot right now.
6. SF- a huge win against the Patriots followed by their own blowout defeat. Banged up and may have lost Vernon. Colin played like a rook this week.
7. Houston- dropping again after another loss, a mysterious injury to Foster, and the possibility of losing a first round bye if they can't beat division rival Colts this week.
8. Indy- speaking of which, the Colts win another on the late game heroics of their rookie QB. They get their coach back this week. We will have to see if they can have the same success under the new head man.
9. Baltimore- Played like a champ this week vs. the Giants but this comes after a 3 week losing streak. Which team will show up come playoff time?
10. Cinci- clincha playoff WC birth with their vicotry over division rival Steelers. I dont see them advancing past that WC round however
Fighting for their playoff lives
11. Skins- RG3 is back but not 100%. A win vs rival Cowboys makes them the division champ
12. Cowboys- sure they lost but they actually played well and still win the division by beating the aforementioned Skins in week 17.
13. Vikings- control their destiny and get in with a win vs division rival Packers. Tough matchup and will undoubtedly need an all-day performance from MVP candidate Peterson.
14. Bears- in with a win and Minny loss. They should do their part, but will Minny do theirs?
15. Giants- its their own fault for being in their current situation. They should easily take the Eagles but it may not/probably won't matter.
Just on the outs
16. Steelers- Losing 5 of 6 sealed their fate/
17. Saints- what could have been if not for Bounty Gate we will never know.
18. Rams- at 7-7-1, they have the best record of the teams currently out
19. Dolphins- tough to name to many NFL caliber players but they have a chance to finish .500 and second in the division
20. Carolina- Manage to finish a strong 6-9 affter starting 1-6. Cam actually improved this year despite the perception.
21. SD- another 6-9 finisher after a horrible start. Hopefully it didnt save Norv's job.
22. TB- Started strong fishied weak.
23. Cleveland- Down and up and down again
24. Jets- Down and down and down but somehow their record doesnt look terrible.
25. Buffalo-signed a bunch of defensive FAs yet allowed a crap-load of points this season
26. Detroit- Losers of 7 iin a row yet have so much more talent
27. Titans- similar record yet so little talent
28. Eagles- played Skins tough. We will have a Micahel Vick sighting in week 17. Probably his and Reid's last sighting on the Eagles sideline.
29. Arz- Fitzgeralds Christmas wish is not really in question.
30. Oaktown- Maybe Al wasnt the only problem.
31. Jags- Tim tebow?
32. Cheifs- anyone who can play?
MVP
1. Manning- to change franchises and elevate them so quickly to SB contender while putting up the best numbers at the most important position
2. AP- will only get the MVP if Vikes make playoffs which is a big if IMO. But, I think he should get it if they do
3. Brady- falling out of chase after the last two weeks but season numbers are up there
4. Arodg- the defending champ doesnt have much of a case but has palyed well with limited resources
5. Everyone else
DEF. POY
1. Watt;s to lose after another strong showing
2. Miller- not bad for a second year player
3. Aldon Smith- hurt by teammates' (justin Smith) injury
QB
1. Manning
2. Brady
3. Rodgers
4. Wlson/RG3 and Luck- never have we had 3 rookies all lead their teams to the playoffs. Amazing when almost no one predicted any of these teams to have winning records or even close to it.
5. Romo- just look at the adavanced metrics
RB
1. AP
2. Rice- give him the ball Baltimore
3. Lynch- just as tough of a runner as their is out there
4. Foster- get healthy my friend
5. Martin- would be a ROY condidate in another year
WR
1. Megatron- What Madden Curse?
2. AJ Green
3. AJ
4. Wayne
5. Dez- talent overcoming perceived issues. Upset of the year.
TE
1. Witten- breaks TE reception benchmark
2. Gronk- #1 when healthy
3. Tony- old man wonder
4. Graham- most dependable receiver with the most prolific QB
5. Hernandez- top 5 in the league but 2nd on his own team
DEF
1. Sea
2. Chicago- look worse than they are because of losing steak and no offense
3. SF- beat up physcially and on the field by Seattle this week
4. Denver
5. Atlanta
Bottom 5
1. Jets
2. Cards QB situation
3. Giants free fall at the crucial point in the season
4. Big Ben's late 4th quarter passing
5. SF's no show performance Sunday nightFounder of MMDELAD

D I think sometimes you're too excited to post a wall of text and don't fact check. Seattle is still eligible to win the division and possibility of getting a bye so saying they won't host a game at this point is a stretch

I admit it was pretty crappy. I was most surprised (as with a lot of people) about that call late in the 4th quarter with who touched the ball last, melo or kobe...it was pretty clear after all the replays that melo had touched it last.
Out of all the teams, I'm definitely impressed with Seattle this season! Wilson has had a crazy season"The Will to Win means nothing without the Will to Prepare."
