I may take AP as MVP, depending on if he can continue his torrid pace. Nonetheless, I'd still take him over Peyton for CBPOY.

I might take him as offensive player of the year
But unfortunately in today's NFL, MVP almost has to be a QB because of the rules.
AP had a antistatic game Sunday but his team still couldn't win because his QB was woefully outplayed by his opponenent's (meanwhile the opponent lost their starting RB to injury and still won by 18 points)Founder of MMDELAD

Still too early to determine your MVP even though we are past the halfway point, consider injuries or teams falling apart down the stretch = Loss of MVP Status....
Rookie of Year:
1. RG3
2. Luck
^^ IMO, yes Luck is a more QB pocket passer, but RG3 is also the complete athlete, i hope he does not fall down the path vick did and crumble as his years go by.
overall MVP
AP is having a breakthrough season after the Knee Surgery
Keep an eye on Payton lets see what he does these weeks leading up to the playoff's
Can Brees make a run even after a loss last week to the falcons?
Could be anyone, but right now there does not seem to be a clear cut favorite.

Drew Brees will get offensive player of the year but not MVP. His team is just too awful for him to get it. This is the same for AP unfortunately. LT was the last non-RB to win MVP and that was in 2006. The Chargers finished 14-2 that year. Nobody is going to win MVP when their team is 5-6 or 6-5.
For me, these are my top 3:
- Matt Ryan
- Peyton Manning
- Tom Brady
No Rodgers because he's being stifled by his team. Peyton will most likely win it and that's only because he's taken the Broncos to new heights while coming back from a fairly big injury. I'd personally give it to Matt Ryan at this point. ATL has the best record and he brings a lot of yardage to the team. His run offence is one of the worst, so he's the reason the team has any offence at all.“Go back?" he thought. "No good at all! Go sideways? Impossible! Go forward? Only thing to do! On we go!" So up he got, and trotted along with his little sword held in front of him and one hand feeling the wall, and his heart all of a patter and a pitter.”

Knicks just coming back down to earth after a fast start
1-3 in their last 4 with lone win vs Detroit
Melo is a 1way player. Amare will hurt the team by requiring 20+ shots when he gets back
JR wants twice as many as he is currently getting.
Kidd, Thomas, Camby and Sheed are 100 years old.
They could still go far because only decent Eastern COnference team is the Heat.
There are more bad teams in the NBA right now than I can ever remember.
SB odds
SF 3-1
NE 5-1
Denv 5-1
Hou 5-1
Gb 7-1
Atl 8-1
Chi 12-1
Balt 12-1
NYG 14-1
TB 14-1
Sea 30-1
Pitt 30-1
Surprised SF is 1st w/ rookie QB
Ravens/Giants seem like value betsLast edited by determined4000; 11-26-2012 at 10:34 PM.

I definitely wanna see a rematch between ATL and Denver just cause Peyton's got a better chemistry with the team now compared to the beginning of the season

I am pro-Duke and anti UNC
Mostly a Big East fan but the conference is going under because of lack of football power and teams checking out for football $
Wpuld love to see the ACC and Big East swap schools so the bball schools (inc UNC and Duke) are with the Big East bball schools and the football are with football
Instead we get a Big East with Tulane, TCU, Boise St.,San Diego St., UCF, Southern Methodist and the University of Houston. (strong demographically challenged conference name)Founder of MMDELAD

-Longoria signs for 16 ,il a year and Upton gets 15 from the Braves. Seems like the Rays got off cheap now.
-A belated RIP to Marvin Miller and making so many Yankee World Series possible
-A belated props to the hot Colts cheerleaders who shaved their heads for Pagano/cancer awareness
-I hate that the NFL can't announce what players test positive for. But these players need to start coming up with something fresher and newer than Aderrol (spl?) because now everyone just assumes this means hard roids. No folks they arent really using ADHD meds.
