Wow what a day
ND vs Bama is what I am gussing wil be the national championship
ND will beat USC with Barkley out (would have been concerned b4)
Bama wont drop a second game and knowing now they have BCS championship within their grasp, the Georgia matchup will be even bigger for them
Anyone know the last #1 to go in as the underdog?
Bama will certainly be favored heavily and the over under should be low
ND has a good enough D to hold their offense in check, even if they dont/cant score much at all
Heisman:
No way Klein wins now
THought Barner had a shot but with Oregon out, he's out
Defensive player wont win
Johnny football has to be the odds on favorite
Career high in total yards today
Must see tomorrow:
GB vs Det for the scoring
Luck vs Brady in the new Colts NE matchup
Denver vs SD after that great comebackk 3 weeks ago
The MFN of Chi vs SF looking like fail now with Campbell startingFounder of MMDELAD

What do you get in a league of have's and have not's
The Texans play lousy and win, Matt Ryan throws 5 picks and wins, the Cowboys try to lose a game every way possible and win, the Packers fo scoreless half the game and win, The Bucs play poorly and win.
Clearly the bottom of the league is too bad to even vest the top teams on their worst days.
Projections in NCAAFB have ND and bama winning and playing in the championship with Bama being a 10+ point favorite. Supposedly any SEC top ten team would be favored.
I was surprised to see Kstate sink as low as they did. Ohio State clearly is kicking themselves for not being eligible.
Was wondering this today. After Lebron and Durant, who is the best player in the NBA. Kobe is aging, Dwight's stock has fallen a lot, CP3 really hasnt ever won anything, Duncan is old, Sirk in decline, Wade seems to be riding Lebron's coat tails now, Melo is a 1way player.
So who would you take?Founder of MMDELAD

Weekly Power Rankings- Some serious reshuffling
1. Green Bay- Did not loo overly impressive but more impressive than Atl and Houston which almost lost
2. Houston-speaking of which
3. New England- Points, points and more points. Now their D is turning others over
4. Denver- locked up the West and easy schedule ahead
5. Baltimore- just physically beating people up and down
6. SF- Looked great w/o Smith but how long will it last? Arguably the best NFC team to date but just don't have the Championship feel/pedigree.
7. Atl- 2 unimpressive weeks in a row and showing cracks (drop may be a little over-stated)
8. Chi- Need Cutler back. Who would have thought?
9. NYG- They hope the bye week reverses their recent fortunes
10. Pitt- Need to keep head above water until Ben comes back
11t. Indy/Seattle- A great O and great D and a bad D and a bad O. But have playoffs spots right now
Postitional rankings
QB
1. Peyton-MVP frontrunner as well
2. Arodg- doing it with a lot of injuries and no run game
3. Brady- less INTs than Sanchez has in the red zone
4. Brees- puts up huge numbers...and needs to
5. Ben- His absencse showed how valuable he is to his team
RB
1. AP- dont forget him cuz he was on bye
2. Dont forget him because Schaub threw for 500+
3. Martin -dont forget him because his name is new
4. Lynch- dont forget him because his offense stinks
5. CJohnson- dont forget him because he killed your fantasy team the first few weeks. Check his recent numbers and season sttats
WR
1. AJ Green- did you see that TD catch?
2. Calvin- Would you want anyone else?
3. Marshal- Can he produce without Jay?
4. Wes- Will Brady rely o him more w/o Gronk
5. Wayne- Is there a better option for a rookie QB?
Honorable Mention- Fitz- Does any other player hate his situation more?
TE-
1. Gronk- get well soon
2. Graham- Best healthy TE now
3. Witten- hands, reliability, blocking, toughness
4. Tony G- best 3rd option in the NFL
5. Hernandez- if he returns Brady will need him w./o Gronk
Defense
1. SF- Blend of talent, athleticism, tougheness
2. Bears- best playmakers
3. Baltimore- bullies
4. Seahawks- best secondary
5. Pitt/Houson- Housto better on the season but giving up that many to the Jags deserves a drop
The Bottom 5
1. Dallas doing all it can to lose...but not
2. Carolina, SD, Philly- who gets fired first?
3. Nick Foles as the Eagles savior
4. Blaine Gabbert's future with the Jags
5. Playing the league's best TE on the PAT team when you are up by 30
Rookie of the year
Martin? RGIII? Luck?
Who's your guy?
Best race for rookie in quite some time.
All have futures in this league.Last edited by determined4000; 11-19-2012 at 09:05 PM.

Predictions sure to go wrong
AFC playoffs:
houston/Denver get Byes
3. Balt defeats #6 Pittsburgh
#4 NE defeats Indy
Denver over Balt and NE over Hou
Denver over NE
(if Hou beats NE I like Hou over Denv***)
NFC
Atl and GB get Byes
#3 SF defeats #6 Sea
#4 NYG loses to #5 chicago (with Jay back)
Atl loses to #5 Chicago
GB defeats SF
GB defeats Chi
GB vs Denv (or maybe houson, yes wavering) in SBowl
Most intriguing possible matchup: Manning vs Manning
High scoring Matchup: NE vs GB
Boring Matchup: Houston vs SF
Low scoring Matchup: Balt vs SF
Did you know?
The Pats scored more points tis weeks than the Chiefs have since October 7th?Founder of MMDELAD

Andy Reid's totally gonna get fired first, that was a horrible game for the Eagles against Washington! He might be a rookie, but I don't see Foles being the Eagles savior really :/ (21/46 passing and 2 interceptions is pretty rough)
I think RGIII will probably be the rookie of the year; he's been consistantly playing well, and he's got quiet a bit of rushing yards also."The Will to Win means nothing without the Will to Prepare."

I have to agree with Luck potentially being Roy. He appears to have a bright future ahead of him. For some reason I have a feeling rg3 will kind of be another Cam Newton. Not that there's anything wrong with Cam, but he's been a bit quieter this year than he was last year.
Also, glad to see Plaxico playing again. Should be interesting to see how he helps the steelers the rest of the year. Especially considering they'll be starting Charlie Batch this week with Big Ben and Byron out.

Halp!
Should I start Brees against a 4th ranked SF defense or Luck against a 29th ranked Buffalo defense.
Both are playing well, and N.O. Offense is pretty hot right now. But, Fuk sf pass defense is really good.
And I'm a little hesitant after Lucks 4 turnovers last week. Buffalo sucks though.
Both are projected at 18.
What would you do nmisc?
