IMO his legacy is really tarnished now
Losing Postseason record
1-2 SB record
so many 1 and done's
a few choke jobs
May not have gotten a lot of hekp but he wasnt good at all tonight. A few ducks for sure.
Montana's legacy is safe now. Only another Brady SB threatens him now and I don't think the Pats will be able toput it together in the next few years. Easy division but I think the lack of competition keeps them from doing what it takes to take themselves over the top in the postseason.
I bet they let Edelman walk. Brb Brady with a bunch of no name receivers to start 2014.

Looking ahead to next year:
Expecting to see Seattle, SF, Carolina stay on top
Expect Atlanta to rebound. Philly to be better under Kelly in year 2. GB to get Rodgers back. NO to decline. See what Det does with all the talent but no discipline.
AFC
Expect to see KC and Denver come back to earth.
NE wins easy division
Houston to rebound
NFC is so much deeper and better right now than the AFC it is amazing.Founder of MMDELAD

Agree with you D and I think we are in for a Seattle Dynasty. What a great sports city and fan base. Players will flock to Seattle because they want to play there. Niners will be solid once again but mark my words it will the year for the Chargers in 2014/15. Will say if Detroit can find an O line and one more offensive threat coupled with Matt Staffords tremendous ability they will be contenders

Not happy with this SB.
- Your mindset influences your outcome. It's time to take out phrases like "I can't" or "I don't have time" and replace them with phrases like "I will make the time" and "I will keep working at it until I find a way that works." Success starts with the right mindset and believing in yourself and your dreams.

It seems like very year the "experts" pick this year's winners for next year.
Last year I said as soon as Baltimore won that they wouldnt even make the playoffs in 2013-2014 and was proven right.
Things for the Hawks to deal with:
1. Being in the best division in football and have the 2nd best team in their own division
2. Bennet, Tate and Brownder are FA
3. Lynch may not be back becuase of contract
4. Health (as any team would)
5. A lax coach that will undoubtedly let them enjoy it (but how much)
What they have going for them
1. Youth
2. A healthier Harvin
3. Team is built around D, rather than an offense that can be dissected on film and schemed against.Founder of MMDELAD

Can't believe I actually somewhat called this game.
Before the game I had this sinking feeling that Seattle was going to at least win by two scores.
Definitely tarnishes Peyton's legacy.
I don't think the Pats are in as bad of a position as people might think.
I see them having Blount, Ridley, and Vereen hopefully next year.
I think they will go after a free agent WR; because if they sign Edelman, pick up a good free agent WR(haven't looked at the FA field yet), and Kenbrell Thompkins gets healthy that they will be better at the WR spot.
Considering how ravaged by injuries the Pats were, it's pretty impressive how far they went.

SO wilson now has a title under his belt and is the first of the young QBs (Luck, Kap, Cam, RG3) to win one.
But how much is to hiscredit and how much is just due to his surrounding cast (especially D)?
Is he trending more to be TOm Brady (who won 2nd year in 2001 with a great D, went on to win 3 titles nad become an alltime great)
Big Ben (won with great defenses but has done little when his help hasnt been as good)
Flacco/Dilfer (great Ds but generally not considered top ten qbs)
Would you take him over Luck? CK? Griffin? Cam? (if you were going to have the Seattle D and offense to go along with your QB)

I agree and dont think its a big debate that Luck should be first and RG3 last.
The other three comes down to preference.
I think Wilson is safer, has the most accurate arm, has the best mind
Cam and CK are better physical specimens and athletes.
I think it comes down to if you think those 2 can progress from a mental standpoint and rely less on their legs as they age.
Wilson has a lower ceiling but is more of a lock to hit it.Founder of MMDELAD

So this makes it a terrible game? What's your point? One team was clearly better and the other didn't show up. Had the Seattle D not showed up Denver would've scored more. There's million variables here. None of this takes away from what I said, if you like a good hard hititng defense it was a great game. There's many sides to football (as you all know). Just because the Broncos offense didn't score much doesn't make it a bad game. It just means Seattles D did exactly what they were supposed to. And according to you, so did Seattles O. It makes no sense why everyone has such a beef.

For me, I prefer a game where both teams are playing well. Even if one team is playing extremely well, it is less interesting to just watch them run all over another team. I do understand, though, because I like watching Barca play even if they are smashing, because they play such a beautiful brand of soccer. With two teams, I don't have that much interest in - a blowout makes it a bit of a dud. I can respect a hard hitting defense and I personally love watching Lynch play (but he had a nothing of a game), but it doesn't keep me interested, especially when their defense was on the field for less than half the game. So I get 28 minutes of good defense and then 31 minutes of okay offense made much better by a completely awful defense.

I think by definition it can't be a good game when one team no shows completely and it is totally non competitive from snap one. Seattle was very impressive but it was the furthest thing from a good game i can imagine

Olympics started today.
Everyone loves to root for the USA. There is something about national pride (why I enjoy World Cup as well even though I dont care about MLS). Similarly, I don't really care about biathlon, short track speed skating, etc.
Nor do I think they are really the best athleres in the world. Rather, talented athletes doing specialized sports. The best athletes play the sports where the money is. If the best athletes from the major sports trained for these their whole careers, they would probably be the best at it. I respect the Olympians because they dedicate their lives to this and few make any money or fame off it.
Whats your favorite event(s)?
Personally I love the skiing and snowboarding (probably because I actually do that sport)Founder of MMDELAD

I feel ya, although actually playing curling is fun. What I can't stand is the fact that up here curling gets higher priority on TV than other sports ex. getting up on the main TSN (Canadian ESPN) channel while basketball gets put on TSN2 or some other lower channel.

Late on the Super Bowl talk but I have to say I very much enjoyed watching Seattle play. Denver made mistakes, but Seattle played defense flawlessly. I also thought it was great to see the Hawks didn't have to rely on Lynch to get things done offensively. I really put more of it as a won game for Seattle even though Denver did bomb a few things. Also good to see defensive MVP for once.
Excited for the Olympics I love the winter sports much more than summer. Just a lot more variety imo.Always learning, Always growing, Never satisfied

between his play and antics, I can't remember the last college bball player to hurt his draft stock more by coming back a year than Marcus Smart.
