Lol..right on. I knew he talked trash but not to that extent.

Apparently, in the 88' or 89' three point shooting contest he was staring down his competitors. Everyone asked why he was staring. He said he wanted to see who was going to finish second..lol. Then he proceeded to not even take off his warm-ups for the contest so the other competitors would have an advantage. He won by a wide margin.

He scored 20 something points on Dr. J (as you know played for Sixers) in a regular season game in the first quarter. After the first quarter, he told the Sixers head coach, "If you don't put someone else on me...I'm gonna drop 100 points on him tonight". Lol..epic stuff.

Any thoughts on tonights UFC? I'm calling Dos Santos knocks out Mir in the first round. This pains me because I'm a big fan of Mir just think his time is up. Cain Valesquez submits this Antonio Silva guy deep in the 2nd with a choke of some sort. Had a great convo with my neighbor about the Yankees last night. Can Andy carry the yanks with stellar pitching in the 2nd half without Mariano closing? I think so, the yanks have been a second half team lately. I don't think they'll make it past the 1st round though. I'm still saying the Heat will take it all. Not a big bball fan but I think Lebron will carry them. DWade is a monster and will come more alive in the next round and feed off Lebron.

I don't care who wins this one tbh. As long as they beat or at least wear down the Heat in a 6 or 7 game ECF, I'm happy.

Re. UFC: wouldn't mind seeing Mir win one last time, even though he's a bit too cocky for me. Albeit I haven't watched as much UFC as I used to in H.S. so Junior may be worse. idk.

Cool to here about Larry, always knew about his trashtalking, especially after reading Bill Simmons' Book of Basketball (must read!!!!)

When Rondo starts making 3's, that's when you know the Celtics will win...
Damn... Now I'm stuck choosing between the Celtics & Heat for round 3 of the playoffs. That's a pretty dreadful series for a Knicks fan like me to watch lmao.

Cs vs 76ers-Philly only shoots 35% but it seemed even lower. Offensive struggles on both sides (no, it wasn't just great D). Rondo actually hits some jumpers and notches a Triple double and the Cs set to take on (lose to) the Heat. Just can't win on the road so they are doomed.
But does anyone think either of the Eastern Conference teams could beat either the THunder or SPurs? I doubt it.

Tex more HRs in the last 2 games than he had in the previous 27 (ouch).
It seems like the general public WANTS the Thunder to win the west, but the experts are predominantly picking the SPurs. Would love to see Duracnt beat Lebron and win won 1st.

Swisher is playing amazingly, while Granderson is not getting that many steals this season.

But does anyone think either of the Eastern Conference teams could beat either the THunder or SPurs? I doubt it.
Western Conf champ= NBA Finals Champ

Hamilton and Salty hit walk-off HRs for Rangers/Sox.

London Donovan got a hat trick vs. Scotland
Better add A.J. Ellis for the Dodgers!

BTW I traded for Mark Texiera on Thursday (Fantasy Baseball); 3 HR and 7 RBIs in two days=Happy me. Plus Cano is starting to heat up as well.

id love for the celtics to upset the heat but i see heat taking it in 6 to me avery bradley being out is a huge loss especially against the heat i mean ray allen guarding anyone right now is cringe worthy let alone d wade it would be nice to see the celtics use there match up advantages with rondo and kg but in the nba how often do teams stick to that im amazed at how many times a team focuses on a key matchup it works n then they just go away from it lakers last series a prime example either way heres hoping for a boston san antonio finals to see kg vs duncan just read duncan literally hates kg from his days with the timberwolves ......cue up youtube and search garnett smacks duncan that could be one of the reasons why lol

Don't diss MJ, please. Ever since I was a little kiddo and watched NBA games and the movie Space Jam, I've looked up to him haha. You gonna make me cry man! (notforreal but still)

Watch his Hall of Fame speech. That's all you need to know about that POS.

And this is coming from a life-long Bulls fan who idolized that team in the 90's as a kid.

So because he's popular makes it less true? I've actually heard similar things. Doesn't change who he was as a player.

Yeah it was pretty cocky, but it did manage to get a few laughs out of me. I can only imagine what Shaq's HOF speech will be like.

He's not league exec material but all good.

There will never be another MJ. His will to win and succeed will never be matched - IMO. He was truly not human.
