"The Ravens have agreed in principle to a deal with quarterback Joe Flacco, according to an NFL source.
The deal is not yet finalized but is expected to be signed on Monday, according to FOX Sports' Jay Glazer, who first reported the news.
The length of the deal is six years and makes Flacco the highest-paid player in NFL history, according to CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that it's in excess of $120 million."

Flacco becomes highest paid player and one of the most overpaid players in the NFL
Anyone see the college bball player jump shooting fould shots. 40% FT shooter and made 2/2 doing it this way. Small sample size is still very small but I will be watching.
I know the Thunder are the sexy pick in the West but any1 who thinks they are better than a healthy Spurs team is wrong. Spurs are so much more steady, deep, and team oriented. But as above poster said, Heat will win it all anyways.

All Flacco does is win. Most wins by a QB in his first five seasons. Only QB to win a playoff game in each of his first five seasons. Most road playoff wins by a QB all-time. Tied for 10th all time for playoff victories by a QB already. Super Bowl champion. 11 TDs, 0 interceptions in the postseason. The guy has balls of steel and he is a winner.

I am betting the Os take a big step back (had that ridiculous close-game record last year) and the Days take a small step back (lose Upton, Shields, etc.)
Jays win division and overall the East will probably be weaker than it has in a long time.
Duke beats Miami but to only win by one basket and needing that crazy game from Kelly says a lot about how good miami is.
I like their tourney chances (more experience than other top teams, big wins, balanced)
Zags won easy and will be #1
Cuse lost 3rd in a row
Trout will get raise to 20k over minimum (lol)
Just sayin

I'm not buying any of the Jays hype until July, they've had a couple hot starts the last few years and **** the bed in inter-league play against inferior NL teams. Hopefully they prove me wrong.
Got to disagree with Miami's experience. Sure they have a bunch of seniors who are good players, problem is none of them have played in the Tournament.Oakland Raiders--Toronto Raptors--Toronto Blue Jays--San Jose Sharks

Story of the Day:
Magic Johnson putting up 1million for Lebron to participate in the Dunk contest next year:
To me it is clear that if Lbron were to participate he couldnt accept the money because his image would take a hit and he knows that now.
Secondly I have always assumed he didnt particpate because he isnt a real competitor and is afraid of losing to some scrub who can jump out of the gym.
I think the solution is to get a bunch of people/sponshors to put on money for Lebron, Blake, and the like to particpate in some sort of Dunk "Showcase" where there isnt going to be a real winner but all the money goes to Charitites and the like. That way you could also guilt them into doing it if the money is going to charity of their choice.
Between Magic, KIA *Blake's sponsor), maybe Nike and some other big companies, I am sure you could get the figure up there and some other bigger names to join in.
Who else would you want to see?
Westbrook?
McGee?
Howard?
Andre I.

IMO, last night was another example of why Melo isnt an MVP
His team cannot only survive, but thrive without him
He is great late in 1on1 scenaros and can score.
BUT, he doesnt make teammates better.
While I wont go as far to say the Knicks are certainly better w/o him, I think his individual teammates are.Founder of MMDELAD

GOAT. So sad to be seeing Mo on his way out. Plus a great guy to boot. Arguably the most important player to all the 90s and 2000s WS championships.
McShay has Te'o dropping to 32 in his latest mock! How much imaginary gf and how much poor combine?
Coach Cal not happy with his team. I knew they wouldnt be as good but I figured they would still easily be a tourney team.Founder of MMDELAD

Tiger leading by 2 shots
I still can't root for him but golf is far more interesting when he is in the hunt
LAL now only .5 games out of a playoff spot
Granted they will probably have to play the Thunder of Spurs in round 1
Blackhawks finally lose but Heat still streaking.
