So as I predicted, NOTHIN happens at the deadline
So,
A. The Lakers remain syfunctional
B. The Cs are going to get old and bottom out
C. The clips remain a wannabe contender
D. The Hawks will get nothing after they lose Smith during free agency
E. The Nets will gear up to sign some big names come the offseason

Personally I think GMs are more worried about admitting mistakes or making future mistakes than they are improving their teams for now and/or the future.

On the other hand, remember when after the Heat failed to win a championshp year 1 together and everone wanted to blow them up most of the way thru year 2?
Then they win it all and look on track to win again this year and they are the best thing going.
Is it possible the Lakers could do this?
I am thinking not because these aren't players all in their prime. Dwight is but Nash, Gasol, Ron, and Kobe are on their way down. They lack the role players and don't have the cap space to bring in anyone else.
