My deads have been fairly stagnant lately compared to other lifts, so I took this vid to see if form was part of the problem. I realize that the video turned out pretty bright so contrast isn't very good. That should be okay, as I am particularly intertested in the setup and beginning of the lift because my stall point is right at the floor. I will probably add some deficit work, but wanted to check this first. Thanks.

Your form looks fine. There's some issues with fluidity of the movement, but that's an easy fix with practice over time. For the start of the movement, you can try performing DL while standing on platform. This can help target that initial phase.
Bodybuilding is 60% training and 50% diet. Yes that adds up to 110%, because that's what you should be giving it. Change the inside, and the physique will follow.

Huh. I never really noticed, but now that you point it out I am a bit jerky. I will work on that and throw in some deficits. Thanks.
Haha. There is a rule sign and one of the things is to wear proper footwear, but I disregard that on deads. No one has complained yet!Training log (5/3/1): http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=134406091
