How much Glucosamine can you take??? (answer inside)

recentlly ive been going heavier and my knees are hurting more. Im currentlly taking 1500mg of glucosamine and fish oils. When I dont take either, my knees hurt even more.

So I googled how much glucosamine do powerlifters take. Couldnt find and answer. but I did find that taking 5X the normal amount can lead to pancreatic problems (7500mg).

I talked to a few powerlifters and they take about 4500mg a day. Took about 2 weeks to ask around and get an average.

so I decided to increase my dosage to 3000mg/day with some chondrodin and MSM. SportPhamra was the cheapest at $14 for a 45 day supply. Osteo Sport to expensive.

Hope this helps everyone. Seach on the forums just recommend 1500mg. But im going more than 3 plates squat and more than 4 plates deadlift so 1500mg/day isn't enough.

    Cissus
    Glucosamine/msm
    fish oil
    ???
    Profit

I find cissus superior for tendons/joints.. but they complement each other good when stacked, look into it when you get a chance.

I already ordered 2 bottles of SportPharm Joint-V. We'll see how the extra glucosamine, chondrodin, and MSM work if they dont then Ill give Cissus a shot.
