    List all superfoods

    Hey all,
Can you guys list all of the highly-touted "superfoods" that you know of. Also, if you can say what that particular food is good for, that would be great.

    Thanks

Fish (especially tuna and salmon) - protein + healthy fats
Other seafood - Good source of lean protein
Eggs - Superfood! Highest biological value of any protein, filling, tasty and nutritious
Cottage Cheese and low fat dairy - Low fat + slow release protein + calcium + tasty
Nuts and seeds - Excellent source of protein (especially almonds) and healthy fats + tasty
Legumes - Good source of proteins (although most are incomplete, with the exception of soy), fibre, low GI carbohydrate
Whole or rolled grains - Low GI source of carbohydrate with lots of fibre. They are also packed with vitamins and are filling
Vegetables - tasty, filling, vitamins and minerals
Fruit - Tasty, filling, anti-oxidants and a good source of low GI carbs (if you pick the right ones)

Thanks a lot guys, those lists is exactly what I was looking for.

How about green tea? I heard it was a superfood as well.

Also, which fruits are the good ones to choose?

    Which legumes are the best?

How many eggs per day is fine?

    Thanks

It is also an excellent antioxidant, and has been shown in studies to be even more potent than Vitamin E. Best of all, it's a decent thermogenic.

Are there any other superfoods that would not come to mind right away (similar to green tea)?
