I heard that whey protein is 75% lactose
I also heard that since I'm lactose intolerant I don't digest lactose based products
I've been taking whey protein for a while now with no noticeable problems
Am I just urinating out all of the protein though?

Well I know that my protein powder isn't 100% amino acids, I figured some of the other constituents could be in the form of sugar or lactose
Yes I am on red, I don't think anybody has rated me before though, and if they rated me negative then that probably says more about them then it does about me.
Oh okay so during the ion exchange process the whey is separated from the lactose, makes sense.
Well I'm glad to hear that I'm not wasting all that precious protein

First off all, it's called whey protein and not whey carbohydrates or whey lactose for a reason, it's just protein. Although it is very hard to (and also damages the protein) to completely isolate it, therefore there will always be a small amount of compounds remaining from the pure whey, like calcium, lactose and fat. Whey protein is sold as either concentrate or isolate, concentrate has the "lowest" concentration of protein, with about 75-80% protein, and about 1-2% lactose. Isolate has the highest protein concentration with 85-90% protein and 0-1% lactose. I don't know where you herd, or why you believed, whey PROTEIN was 75% carbs/lactose, but it is a lie.
If you are lactose intollerant, you normally can not digest lactose containing products, altough you might only be partly lactose intollerant, which means that you can digest some lactose, but have a limit for how much your body can tollerate before it is unable to digest it.
If you are taking whey protein now and don't have any problems, I don't understand your concern or the purpose of the thread.
To be perfectly honest I don't know if protein is excereted in the urine, and I really don't care, neither should you, what the hell does it matter? Protein goes in to your body, in to your blood, in to your muscles and organs, and then out trough your sweat, urine, feces, spit, snot, !?!?!?!?!?, who cares.

The difference you're looking for here is between whey concentrates vs. whey isolates
Whey concentrates typically have more lactose - however they do confer other benefits
Whey isolates (they will say Isolate on the bottle) - have typically had the majority (99%) of the lactose removed. This should be your best bet here.
