First Competition: May 25
9 DAYS OUT!!!
I'll take that first place Vanessa! I honestly feel good about getting to the end of this challenge! So many things going through my mind right now. I wake up way before the alarm every morning, head is spinning!!!
Nervous about the final week. Nervous to try it my way (front load), nervous to try it the coaches way (deplete, then load), ahhhhhh! But I am going through with the front load. Not too loaded! 120gr is what I've decided to go with. I dropped to 114.4lbs this morning! I had to step on twice to believe it. I have all my meals for the week figured out (keeping it simple and the same except for night time protein) and a shopping list for Friday.
Ran into a gal that competed last week and she gave me the name of her spray tanner that can come to the house. She's very experienced at competition tans so I might give that a go if she is not booked and depending on price. Even though I already have my Liquid Sun Rayz, it would take pressure off my husband not to have to do my back side. This person uses JanTana & Liquid Sun Rayz, so she knows the product.
I don't "think" I need to lose more weight, but there is such a fine line between being lean enough & retaining muscle, it drives me crazy!
Today I trained Chest & Arms, looked very vascular and I will go after work for cardio: steady state and 20 minutes this time. I don't want to over do it. I think I'll let the diet finish it off (or me, what ever comes first!)
My little water app just told me to drink more water! I like this thing!

I am drinking 1.5 gal right now. I downloaded this cool app called Water Your Body. Each time I take a 16oz glass, I log it on my phone and it totals all my water for the day! It has glasses/cups you can choose from and you set the amount. Since most of my glassware is 16oz, I chose that and I put 192oz for my days total. There a little bar that goes across in a color so it shows how far along you are. Or you can choose the bar graph screen or just a line up of each entry.

Here is what I bought:

My favorite summer color! Hubby and I have date night scheduled for June 1st! I'll be wearing this dress and I already have strappy shoes to match! Ended up paying $24.00 with all my cards & discounts!
We took the pups on a 3 mile walk Sunday and it tuckered poor Bruizer out! With his size though, it's probably like 6 miles for his little legs. He spendt most of the day like this:

5 Days Out!
Today was leg day and I used regular weight for 10 Rep range but only went to 7 or 8 reps on each set. Then 20 min moderate cardio on the step mill. Energy is getting low. Maybe it's mental now that the finish line is so close, dunno.
The INBA finally replied to my e-mail and said they would be calling today to give instructions on where to register and when to show up for pre-judging & main show.

You look great. Out of curiosity I looked at your measurements on your bodyspace. You have 33.3" hips?!?! Wow!
I love Kohl's, too. I swear most of my wardrobe is from there.

Kohl's=ME! When we bought our house 5 years ago, it met all criteria: Kohl's and Wal-Mart: 2 miles away; Veterinary: 3/4 mile away
Yes, that is right on the hip measurement, I was shocked myself. I think they are down 4" since I started the cut. Who knew such a small person was underneath all that??
4 Days Out
Weight was 113.2lbs this morning. Looking lean. Adding the light salt to two meals a day has really helped more than I thought and I haven't retained any water from it, i think it's helped shed water and makes me more vascular. I've got the rest of the week all mapped out.
Did a back & chest workout this morning, three exercises each for 4 sets at 80% of normal weight staying 4 reps shy of failure. Also 20 min low intensity cardio on the Octane machine (similar to an ellip).
Now I have to go put away the rest of my pallet order of syrups and smoothie mixes! Uhg! That will add to my back workout! Nothing like lifting 40# cases of syrup around the warehouse.
