Super centurion, literally. The majority of good single ply lifters use a super centurion and if they don't, they use the trx, which stretches out a lot.
    I don't care.

Sheiko, 29 I think. First time running it. I didn't expect to squat so much, but it's good for me.

westside-barbell.com has a ton of articles. But if you aren't willing to do a ton of reading and really dive into learning the methods, it's not the program for you.

I used to be a 165 several years ago. My official bests were 290 bench raw and 405 DL raw (WNPF). Best gym lifts at 165 was a 330 touch and go, raw.

    I now weigh 190.
"Slow and steady wins the race."
Best competition lift: Bench Press, 300 lbs.@ 174 (RAW)

i started off lifting the wrong way, with no good routine. So I never ran SS.
Got into powerlifting about 6 months ago and hopped on 5/3/1.

As said above, most of the 165 guys are manlets so 165 is still a decent size. Aside from that, I will usually walk around closer to 180.

That program is geared for long term gains. You won't see anything budge much in 6 weeks, because that's being short-sighted.
Stick with a program for at least 6 months and give it a fair chance.

Hey guys, another 165er checking in(weighed at 168 this morning!). I'm a bit curious about something. For those of you who compete, what are the ranges in lifts that you typically see at these meets?

For example, what would be the highest and lowest lifts you'd expect for squat, deadlift, and bench? The reason I ask is because I'm considering making the trip for a meet but don't want to embarrass myself by being the weakest dude there.

Just do it. People go in there that can barely move any weight.
It's not about competing with everyone else, it's about testing your lifts.

Looking at your current bench/squat numbers, you'd be just fine at most meets.
    I'm going in with a 225 bench, 325 squat, and a 405-450 dead.

True, good point. My deadlift definitely lags, though(just started doing them again ~1mo ago). Maybe I'll get that to a respectable range before heading to one.
