Okay I'm just gonna say that this is a thread to post about my recent accomplishment and milestone. I have been training to reach this point well since I started really. Everyone wants that 300 pound bench.
Also The bar is 50 pound for any of you Perfectionists.
But If you are knowledgable about benching/Training/Powerlifting any advice on how to fix my Lil lockout problem you'll definitely notice in the video.
Now without further ado,
300lbs Bench Press@ 15 years old.

Thanks man and yea weight wise m bench isn't to great. But I'm not worried about weight. I want to be as strong as my body will allow me to be.
Used to be strong Chubby and weak. Decided I never wanted to be weak again and just started gaining muscle didn't give af about weight or fat. After highschool. I plan on cutting though. But until then I plan on gaining as much strength as possible.Current/Goals

Impressive. Making me wish I started that young!
If you aren't taking 'roids (I don't think you are) you have a great set of genetics. If you keep pushing, relentlessly, you'll be a damn monster.
I applaud you for WANTING advice. Something you don't see very often in younger teenagers. Stay humble and the sky really is the limit.

Good stuff, I wish I could get my brother to scream at me while doing a PR... but can't really do that in a commercial gym.
Speed off the chest was really good for a PR, so definitely a sticky point 2/3 in the lift. 2 board press would do the trick just fine."Do not subordinate fundamental principles to minor details."

I use my yellow pages (still with wraps) and stuff it under my jumper, comes to be a 1.5 board (2.2 inches). You could overload 30 pounds easily with that.
You could also work the triceps in isolation (I just feel that working the tricep in a bench movement will have more carry over). Other classic movements are, lying tricep extentions, jm presses, rope/var pushdowns, close grip etc.Last edited by Xuaxace; 04-03-2012 at 09:13 AM.

Wow mate that was reaaly hardcore, escpecially for a 15 year old. Respect!!!! Just one thing, I just noticed in the video that your spotter doesn't look that useful, and I seriously doubt it that he can be any help if that 300lbs suddendly fall on top of you. Just saying he doesn't look all that reliable. Anyway, keep up the good work!!!
