AllMax Sample Reviews (Choco, Choco mint, Choco PB) + Aminocore
First things first, big thanks to xStevenx. I won a contest earlier for AllMax's new multivitamin, Vitaform. I won't be offering a review for that since.. well it's a multivitamin.
Isoflex
I was already using Isoflex before I got this review, but I’ve only ever tried chocolate. I got 2 samples, one for chocolate peanut butter, the other chocolate mint. I used 8 oz 2% milk in a shaker bottle for each flavor.
Mixability: I’ll rate these together, since my experience with each was the same. All of them mixed perfectly within 10-15 seconds of shaking. The only minor thing that came up was the chocolate chips settling. This wasn’t surprising, but I would have to scoop them up with a spoon if I wanted to get them.
Profile: Most people know that Isoflex has a great profile. It has 27g of protein per 30g serving. Top notch as far as I’m concerned.
Taste:
Chocolate Peanut Butter: Tied with chocolate as my favourite. Reminded me of a Reese’s, had a perfect ratio of PB to chocolate. I’ve only ever tried one other CPB protein, but the AllMax one definitely tops it flavor wise.
Chocolate Mint: I won’t lie, I hate things that are chocolate mint. Never liked the real chocolate mint, and I didn’t think I’d like the protein. However, it turned out to be quite a pleasant, nice taste. Wouldn’t be a regular purchase for me, but I have no doubt aficionados of the Choco Mint flavor would love this. If I had another sample, I was thinking of trying it with Oximega Greens, might work well together.
Chocolate: Definitely one of the better chocolates I have tried. I purchased the 5lb tub of this, goes great with anything. Water, milk, oats, sludge, big shakes… anything really. I don’t have any experience with the fancy Truteins/Protean, but this is definitely the best chocolate I’ve had.
Overall: I have nothing bad to say about the texture, flavor, profile or mixability. The only thing that may scare away customers is the price, but a powder with a profile like Isoflex tends to come at a price.
Aminocore
Got 1 sample packet of aminocore as well. I had the Fruit Punch Blast and mixed it with about 12 oz of water.
Mixability: Mixability was fantastic, only BCAA product to mix this well for me was N’Gage. No floater whatsoever, and this was just stirring with a spoon. I did have some settling occur, however, I didn’t use the prescribed 500mL either directed by instructions.
Profile: Aminocore comes with a 45:30:25: ratio of BCAAs. I won’t pretend that I know too much about the different rations, so I’ll leave that up to you guys. It does have a nice B-Complex however.
Flavour: I was a bit disappointed here. It was a bit bland… uninteresting at best. Considering the market is flooded with delicious tasting BCAAs, I can’t say I cared too much for this flavor. It was easy to drink for sure, but it didn’t leave me wanting anymore.
Anyways that’s it for my reviews, thanks again to AllMax and xStevenx for the opportunity to try out some of their products.

Commendable review. I especially like the multivitamin remark at the beginning haha. You always have a great attitude in the forum. I'm willing to spend the extra cash when it comes to quality, but even in comparison to other pure whey protein isolate products, Isoflex is more expensive. Too bad you didn't get a Hexapro sample. Although I'm fed up with Chocolate and Vanilla protein powder, I tried some at the Arnold Expo and it was scrumptious.

Thanks!
Really wish I got to try Hexapro as well, but thats way out my price range as well. If a large lump of money ever ends up in my wallet, I'd definitely return to using Isoflex. I went a cheaper protein this time (Dymatize), and that flavour just does not suffice for me.
I should also mention that I got a sample of Vitastack and Razor8. Haven't tried the Razor8 yet, just because I'm too big on stim heavy cocktails.

Razor8 is the epitome of stimulant overload. I had a sample and I think there was over 400mg of stimulating power in a single packet. I used it in small portions by adding a dash of it to less potent pre-workout supplements. A little bit definitely adds a kick.
I figured AllMax was giving their fellow Canadians the deals, because their products are a tad overpriced here. I take it their expensive in Canada as well. Hexapro seems reasonably priced though, and it's a protein that I could sip and enjoy. Dymatize protein, on the other hand, generally has an excellent ingredient profile but will never be something I crave.

Thanks for the reviews. I have yet to have a bad flavor of Isoflex, I am back and forth between Chocolate Mint and PBC as my favorites. Luckily, Aminocore is available in a few different flavors so you should be able to find something enjoyable - I'm a big fan of the Blue Razz.

Thanks guys, just had to edit it that post, you could tell I was half-asleep when I wrote some of those sentences...
Looking at the profile of Aminocore, I'm not too surprised that the flavour isn't the strongest. Consideriing 8700~mg of the 9g are active ingredients, it doesn't leave too much for flavouring/sweetners.

The AllWhey? Looks nice, but I'm trying to move pass the chocolates/vanillas and diversify my flavour choices :P

Ah, I guess they just don't have the m on the BB site for 5lbs. Can't say either of them interest me though, I really wish you had CPB for it.

Yeah, the 5lbs have been flying out of stock really quickly. We've been branching out with flavors across the line so a new AllWhey flavor could be around the corner. I'm with you on adding CPB to the lineup!
