Trying to get lean! Kris gethin 12 week lean workout + IF? Doing it correctly???
Hi everyone, I am a new member on bodybuilding.com. I got a couple question, I am trying to cut down my weight, currently i am 180 trying to go down to 160 ish or so or at least make my abs show up. I have been lifting weights for 3 years, but I was wondering if its alright to do "Kris Gethin 12 week workout" (to get lean) plus do "intermittent fasting" I would fast from 5PM-7AM, would this be alright? Also, what should my diet be during the time when I am eating? Do I need to take protein shake after my workout or anything? The protein I have is "6 star muscle Professional Strength Whey protein" I know if I were to eat from 8 AM-3PM I wont get my full amount of protein, so should I just take the protein shake after my workout? My workout would start at 3:30 ish and i'll drink my shake at 4:50 ish right before I start fasting. Please give me your help and advice on this !
Oh also, is it safe to do the fasting for the entire 12 weeks? and are you allowed to drink just water during the time you are fasting? (For me- 5PM-7AM)
Also, I want to eat about 1600 calories each day.
Does this sound like a good diet, if not please add on:
(Fasting- 5PM-6AM)
Breakfast- 6:30 AM
8 Egg white omelet with a slice of butter bread
Mini snack- 9:00 AM
Tangerine with water
Lunch- 10 AM
Quaker Oats old fashion oatmeal 1/2 cup with whole milk
Mini Snack- 1PM
Apple with water
Dinner (Yes i know dinner its too early, I eat with my parents before they go to work lol) 2:30 PM
Either Potatoes, Spaghetti or rice with Tilapia fish, Pork or chicken (one meat and one dish lol)
After workout- 4:45 PM
6 star professional strength whey protein
After that around 5PM I start fasting till 6 AM
Does this sound like a good diet plan do to kris gethin 12 week workout plan with intermittent fasting?
