    How many days a week do you guys work abs? and can someone give me a good ab routine

    making a new workout plan and need help with my abs, i currently have a 4 pack but i want the full blown 6 pack

    can you post how many days a week you guys work abs and what the routine is

    i work abs every other day, have a full 8 pack even with 12ish% bf. do all weighted excersises, like delcine weighted situps, cable crunches, weighted leg raises. only unweighted i do is toe-to-bars, which is a hanging leg raise where you go all the way until your toes hit the bar. also, your diet needs to be in check, thats about 75% of having abs

    They are a muscle like any other.. still have to work on them.

    Just do some simple weighted ab exercises twice a week. Don't overdo it like most people do in the gym with 500 crunches a day.
    Also lower your BF and theyll show just fine.

    the shape of your abs are genetic, but ab work wont get you abs, it will make them stronger. if you want visible abs then eat 200-500 cals below maintenance level til you can see em

    could do more direct stuff I guess.. no harm.. but when I squat / calve raises / barbell rows etc. my core is tensed on every rep.... I don't understand how you can't build good abs by doing that lol

    Deadlifts and deficit Situps 1/2x a week, but I'm fat so I'm not sure if it's working :/

    I have a 6 pack with 6-7 percent bodyfat. It's all in the diet, if you eat like crap you wont achieve it. 3 meals(with snacks) is what i do. I only do ab's 2-3 times a week.

    Two or three times, hard as ****

    Flutter kicks, scissors, plank (as you're planking pick up weights and put them on the other side, then change hands and do it again), hip ups, and a homemade ab wheel, do it like 3 times and wont be able to get out of bed, each set to failure btw
