Of course I did. Did you?
By the way, this seems pretty descriptive to me. Obviously it's you that need to re-read them, as I seem to be the one in this conversation who knows what he's talking about. And again, to everyone else, this is a passage from the book regarding an event already shown in the show, and thus, not a spoiler.
“I beg you in the name of the Mother,” Catelyn began when a sudden gust of wind flung open the door of the tent. She thought she glimpsed movement, but when she turned her head, it was only the king’s shadow shifting against the silken walls. She heard Renly begin a jest, his shadow moving, lifting its sword, black on green, candles guttering, shivering, something was queer, wrong, and then she saw Renly’s sword still in its scabbard, sheathed still, but the shadowsword...
“Cold,” said Renly in a small puzzled voice, a heartbeat before the steel of his gorget parted like cheesecloth beneath the shadow of a blade that was not there. He had time to make a small thick gasp before the blood came gushing out of his throat.
“Your Gr-no!” cried Brienne the Blue when she saw that evil flow, sounding as scared as any little girl. The king stumbled into her arms, a sheet of blood creeping down the front of his armor, a dark red tide that drowned his green and gold. More candles guttered out. Renly tried to speak, but he was choking on his own blood. His legs collapsed, and only Brienne’s strength held him up. She threw back her head and screamed, wordless in her anguish.

Yeah I'm a Spartacus fan too but I like GoT alot more. Just feels that the plot is executed much better + higher budget. Also there are only very 'few' favourites in Spartacus as compared to GoT.
Spartacus my fave were:
1. Batiatus
2. Glabor
3. Gannicus
And in GoT I like almost every character (faves are Joffrey, the advisor who wants to fuk Daenarys, Ned, Rob, Snow, Renly, Stannis.. etc list goes on and on) and especially Tyrion.. every scene of his im on the edge of me seat!

Sick episode tonight, loved it!
It would be awesome if they could show some battle scenes that Rob is supposedly winning, although I do enjoy the other content they fit into an episode just as much.
Cant wait for those dragons to grow up and be large, how long is that meant to take? In Eragon books its quick (no homo)

Mang I wished I didn't read the books. When I watched Season 1 of GoT my mind was blown after every episode and when Ned died I was stun. Now after reading books 1, 2 and 3 (can't remember if I read #3 or not lel) the show is actually a lot less interesting. While watching it I just kind of want them to hurry along and get to the better parts instead of just enjoying it as it progresses.

I dunno about that. I forsee her with Mormont for sure. I hope she does not get touched by the BBC.
FYI guys, Dany's advisor Mormont = Lord Commander Mormont's son. Jon Snow has his sword after Lord Commander Said his son disgraced him but left the sword.
In the Free Cities/Across the Narrow Sea Mormont was a spy at the beginning and he was the one who got the info to Rob Baretheon about what Viserys and Dany were up to and subsequently was the source of their assination attempt (indirectly)
The Part in the show where he stops the assanation is a turning point as he is now def loyal to Dany... he comes to see Dany as a real Dragon Targaryon... and i agree she does kind of transcend all the other houses in a certain way

Not directly, but as with anything else in the books, Martin provided tons of subtle foreshadowing that she was much more powerful than anyone gave her credit for. My apologies that Martin didn't feel the need to beat the reader over the head with the fact as the show did.
