The King told him to help Tyrion and take Joffrey's place...the fact that he attacked Tyrion was a direct betrayal of Kings orders...or the orders of an outside influencer.

It was pretty random - what else leads you to believe it was an outside influence? I don't recall any other scenes where he is anything besides the King's bitch.

Tyrion has many enemies because of what he pulled as hand of the king...why would someone attack him after he lead them in battle (After the king turned his back on everyone and they just berstared if you remember)

This is a Game of Thrones, theres a game within a game within a game...its an inception...its never black and white.

I think I know who tried to have him killed....but like EVERYONE outside of the author of this series I am not 100% sure

i loved the battles and episode brahs. just that it the major inconsistencies and discontinuity's annoyed me abit. nontheless it was the best episode of the season

So with Stannis potentially out of the way it leaves a three way battle between Joffrey, Robb & Dany for the throne ? Doesn't look like Joffrey's gonna die any time soon now.

Can't see much more happening with Robb Stark this series unless they re-take Wintefell or something. Everything at King's Landing seems pretty much done. Dany and John Snow are the only stories still kind of open. Also expecting a massive twist or cliffhanger somewhere. Can't wait.

No way would the dragon's be dead. I don't think any of us can predict what she'll find because we know so little about what's going on there. Especially with such a small teaser in the trailer.

I thought that Stannis was taken prisoner at the end, not carried off by his men. I swear one of them had a sword at his neck.

Also, unless the last episode is two hours long, pretty much guaranteed it will be a let down. So many loose ends to try to tie up in one episode, unless they plan on just leaving us hanging on major plot stuff for like 6 months.
