    Question Thinner mid section

I know it's an age old question and that there may not be a magic answer, but how can i narrow down my mid section, i look in the mirror and although i have lost a fair amount of weight i still can't see any shape, i just look like a smaller block. is it all to do with diet or is there a way i can exercise and re-shape??? i just don't know, i may just be stuck is this due to genes???

    Lower bodyfat overall.

Achieve that by being in a caloric deficit at the end of the day/week/month.

Achieve that by eating less and/or exercising more.

You can't choose where bodyfat comes off from sadly.

You have 33% in your stats... I am 12-13% and still not satisfied with my midsection. Nothing for it but to lose more fat.

diet man. genetically, my gut in my family hangs a bit. i found during my contest prep, with smaller portions more frequently (same cals as before, just the size of the meals are much smaller) made my gut/bloat go down substantially. so dont have a massive plate of food, but small amounts, say 6oz extra lean beef with cup of rice; not too big, but gives you quality macros. keep em small to avoid bulging in the mid-section.
