Yeah man, great minds think alike! I feel sooo good after my morning workouts! It really does make the rest of the day all the better....Now if I could just fit more cardio in, now that would be great!

I haven't updated on my workouts and nutrition in a couple of days but I have been hitting the gym and improving nutritionally.

This infamous Friday was a good pull day for me! I gotta say the best part of the morning is drinking my super tasty orange Juggernaut knowing that it will help me get the most out of my workouts. It is still not disappointing. Yesterday I was feeling extremely tired when I woke up and I think it's because I haven't been getting enough sleep. It's tough to go to sleep earlier but it's something I need to work on.

That is a nice shirt. I agree with the getting more sleep. I feel like that also, and I know how important sleep is to muscle recovery. Well, have a good weekend JUGGERNAUT.

April 14, 2012 - Shoulders/Biceps
I tried something different today since my workout partner wasn't working out today. I stayed home and did my shoulders and biceps routine with my Bowflex dumbells. It works for all the exercises except for the preacher curl. So anyway, I started the day as usual with a scoop of Juggernaut, a scoop of creatine, a protein shake and my vitamins.
External Rotation (this was new for me so glad I finally know what it is)
2XWarm up Sets
4 sets, 10 lbs for 12 reps
Push Press (another new move for me) What a great full body exercise!
2X Warm up Sets
4 Sets, 20 lb for 12 reps
Arnold Press
2X Warm up Sets
4 Sets, 15 lb for 12 reps
Dumbbell Biceps Curl
2X Warm up Sets
4 Sets, 30 lb for 12 reps
Seated Bent-over Rear Delt Raise
2X Warm up Sets
4 Sets, 10 lb for 12 reps
All the dumbbell work gave my arms a VERY nice pump and i had more than enough energy to get through this workout. Thanks again Juggernaut!
I finished the workout with a protein shake, a scoop of Glutamine MTX and creatine. This was also my first shoulder/biceps workout on this particular routine so the weights I used are a little lower than what I would normally do so there will be definite improvement next week.
With the workout over first thing, had the rest of the day to take in some Art in the Park and a visit with some family.

**********JOESWAT, THE ORIGINAL JUGGERNAUT*************
TIP ON HOW TO GET A JUGGERNAUT BODY
”EATING RIGHT FOR YOUR SPECIFIC TRAINING REGIMENT, IS THE KEY TO BECOMING A JUGGERNAUT "
As I read the logs I have come across many juggernauts eating the wrong foods at the wrong time of day or not enough food/macros for their specific training regiment goal, therefore here is some helpful information;
Fueling your body adequately is one of the most important aspect for your fitness success, failing to do so, your results will suffer... Eating before you exercise gives you the necessary energy to work out; eating after you exercise helps you restore your body’s needed resources from the training. However, you can’t just consume mindless calories. You need to pay attention to what you are putting into your body if you want the benefits from your hard earned work. This is what happens to your body when you are done with an intense exercise regiment immediately your body is working to repairing any damage, such as microscopic tears in your muscles from weight lifting. AGAIN … In order for your body to repair itself, you need to give it the correct tools. Food; It provides us with our Protein, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, and anti-oxidants.
What and how much you eat should be determined by your training regiment goal. The Proper and the right amount of nutrition lets you meet your goals and recovery more quickly. Skipping a single meal is not recommended because it will interfere with the healing progress.
You need to eat 1 to 1 ½ grams of protein for every pound you weigh.
Consider this as a basic rule for maintaining muscle mass, obviously you need to increase the amount of protein if your looking to increase size and strength.
It's best to eat 4-6 smaller meals a day by eating a meal every 2-to-4 hours to continually feed your muscles the protein it needs to build bigger muscles.
You need carbs for energy to help you lift heavier weights, do more reps and/or sets to make you keep continually gaining muscle. If carbs are less than 40% of your diet, your body may use the protein and / or burn off the muscle you already build for energy. Eating enough carbs lets the protein do its Job!
Without the proper food/nutrition, you become irritable, lethargic, weak, and unable to think clearly. You also lower your body’s natural defenses of immunity which makes you more prone to getting sick. Food also helps maintain your body’s core temperature, which keeps you from hypothermia or heat stroke. To fuel your body properly and consistently, you should eat several small meals throughout the day instead of three large meals...
TO BE A JUGGERNAUT!!!, YOU NEED EAT RIGHT AND TRAIN RIGHT!!!

You're right, it's forgotten! as for the push press it's actually a fun move. It starts out like a military press, then goes into a squat then back up into the press. Nice multi joint move there!
