    Startng strength,

I've been doing SS for about a few months already. I wanted to add a vertical/speed program as well for football. Please tell me if thats a good idea and which other program should I follow.

    Should be fine.

I would do speed/vert training directly before your weight training sessions or speed/vert (AM) and weight training (PM).

I don't see how it would be a bad idea.

Perform the jumping and sprint work prior to your training sessions 1-2x per week.

A simple way to attack it would be to, after building a base with lower velocity sprinting.

10-40 yard sprints with complete rest till performance drops
vertical jumps with complete rest till performance drops
