    Although I do follow a somewhat flexible diet, i.e. when I want ice cream i have it, I would stick to mostly unprocessed foods for carbs,

    potatoes (all kinds), whole wheat bread is fine (ezekiel bread is awesome) oatmeal even the flavored varieties, try the weight control ones, grits are good, pasta is good, rice is good, beans are good

    any fruits, squash,

    oo also rice cakes are good

    if you are looking for carbs that you won't overeat since you don't track everything I would try to avoid stuff like cereal, pastries, cookies, the obvious culprits
