I'll be logging Giant Sports Metabolic BIOSHOCK for the next month or so:
I've tried TONS of different pre-workouts, but this one has a pretty interesting profile so I'm excited to see what I get out of it. I'm always a fan of pre-workouts with BCAAs, and I'm also a big fan of supplements that do not have 'propitiatory blends'.
I just competed in a meet this past Saturday (totaled 1700 Raw @ 198), so this next week won't be super heavy for obvious reasons.
My goal for the next few months is to put some mass on and eventually compete in the 220's. I am going to be putting an emphasis on higher volume, especially with squats, so I'm really hoping Bioshock gives me the boost I need to push myself to the limit. I have very high top end strength, but my stamina has always been borderline pathetic. I've noticed some pre-workouts help with endurance more than others, and it's usually those containing BCAAs.

Started out with 1 scoop today. Can't say I was blown away energy wise, but definitely noticed a nice subtle boost that seemed to last the entire workout. Also seemed to give me a little mental clarity, my brain is usually a little foggy after working all day. No shakes/jitters or any other negative sides. I have a pretty strong tolerance to stimulants, but I'm not a fan of products that are stim heavy and leave you feeling like you just snorted a line of coke, so this stuff is great in that regard.
Taste was great. Not overly sweet, but masked the bitterness of the BCAA's well. Doesn't mix perfectly, but that's to be expected when BCAA's and creatine are among the ingredients.
I think I'll stick with 1 scoop for now, maybe 1.5 on days I squat.

Lower back was cramping up pretty bad during deads, definitely still a little beat up from the meet. Just tried to take it easy and really focus on form. Leg/hip drive felt great off the floor. I have a feeling I'll end up pulling sumo next meet if I can just hold onto the bar.Best raw lifts: 670/480/675 | http://www.youtube.com/user/invain622002 | IG: NsattPL

Energy was pretty low today. Still a little beat from the meet, plus I installed an oak floor in my living room which ended up taking the entire weekend; the flooring completely drained me, felt like I was hit by a truck last night.
Weight is actually down a few pounds from last week. Upping cals on training days a little moreBest raw lifts: 670/480/675 | http://www.youtube.com/user/invain622002 | IG: NsattPL

Felt great today. Starting to notice a pretty big difference with the increased calories. I haven't really put much actual weight on, but I've filled back out quite a bit since I'm eating carbs regularly, and obviously that makes the biggest difference when doing higher volume stuff.Best raw lifts: 670/480/675 | http://www.youtube.com/user/invain622002 | IG: NsattPL

Lower back was giving me fits again today. Felt good during the pulls, form was spot on, was just really tight afterwards. Had to go hang out in the locker room for a few minutes before I could walk comfortably. 1.5 scoops again, seems to be the perfect amount; was lethargic as hell all day at work but had great energy throughout my workout. Again, no jittery cracked out feeling; really liking this stuff so far compared to some of the stim heavy pre-workouts I've used in the past.

Triceps still a little beat up from the close-grips on Thursday so I decided to do some wide grip work. Drank for the first time in quite a while on Saturday and I got completely bombed so that didn't really help things recovery wise either. Didn't feel very strong but stamina was pretty decent.Last edited by invain; 11-25-2013 at 05:27 PM.

Solid session today. Lower back still getting a little tight but definitely better than a couple weeks ago. Starting to notice I've put on some mass already.
