Alright guys,
i have just broken up with my girlfriend. Been with her since i was 18. had a lot of ups and downs. She is really a great girl and she has actually done everything for me. The sex was great too as she also did whatever i wanted. 2 years ago i moved to another city, about 150 miles away, to study and have therefore only seen her 5-6 days a month. We still did amazing things such as playing pokemon for over 12hours straight competing who gets the better pokemon and that. The last few months i was getting more and more interested in other girls...think about it...5 years with the same girl and never doing anything. She was also the one who took my virginity and was also my first girlfriend.
I have broken up with her because i think the distance is phucking our relationship up as we only see each other around 6 times a month. Now im sitting here feeling like a complete chit. All i remember is all the good times with her and Im thinking i did the wrong thing. She was still deeply in love with me and told me when i broke up with her that she will forever and always love me and that she doesnt think she will find another guy like me.
Im a ****en wreck now and i dont know what to do. She said that the distance is a problem but if we really love each other, that we could make it work out. Just as long as we prove our love to one another. I dont ****en know what to do now...
Heres a pic for you guys. thats her.

will read then reply
seems like you done goofed but probably should just continue on. If you wanted badly enough to be single, that you broke up with her. Then you cant regret that decision. The next months or more will be hard. All youll remember are the good times. But concentrate on bettering yourself, doing the things you wanted to, and hanging out with friends. Good luck op~~~RIP Zyzz~~~

Got dumped by gf of 3.5 years 1 month ago as of yesterday. First gf, first make out, first everything.
My advice for you, is to distract yourself as much as possible. I ended up making out and fingering a girl a week after we broke up (only stopped there because she had a huge bush...) and now I'm hitting on everything that walks, getting results too.
I know this is your general misc BS advice, but its made me feel so much better man. Get out there and entertain yourself.Eat Right. Lift Heavy. Be a Fat Manlet.

i just broke up with gf as well.
not of five years but one year lol
basically you can't keep going back forth with her on whether or not you want to date. You made your decision and you should stand by it. It is unfair to string her along. Now if you truly think you made the wrong decision then try to bring things back together but in all honesty you are feeling what most people feel after a break up. just stick it out

go out there and meet some other girls. don't look for girlfriends though. just go out there and have some fun. take the time off to figure out who you are as a person, you might find that you wanna be back with her. more than likely, though, you'll realize that even though what you had was great, there are better things out there.

Right thing bro. Even having a slight second thought about the relationship of that long @ this point in your life means you should try and experience the single life. The next 5 years of your life will be the best. You'll have money, freedom, and now you're single to make the absolute most of it.

Just convince her to let you have a one sided open relationship, brah. I can't offer any advice though, I'm currently in the same kind of relationship without the distance, don't know what I would have done in your situation.

Damn brah, reading this thread actually made me sad. I know that horrible feeling that you've got right now. I told myself after my ex of 2.5 years that I hope that I never have to go through that feeling agin. And you were together for twice as long as that...so I can only imagine.
The part about you two playing pokemon hit me hard because my ex and I had a relationship like that where you could do anything together. It really is a horrible feeling to break up after something like that. I'd give you the typical advice about how theres other girls out there, keep your head up, blah bah blah...but the only thing that will help you is time. Don't get on that ****gy time and call her up or try to get back together....just move on. You're 23. It'll be the best for you in the long run. You know this.
Feel free to vent on here or even PM me for the hell of it. Letting it out definitely helps.

Hey brah, come here and have a e-misc-hug (since it's a misc hug it includes some gay ass chit).
You were thinking about other bishes, feeling starts to grow and grow. You could cheat on her and maybe her never finding out, but it would still be cheating and it isn't fair to her. She's a great person dude, maybe comfort her, make her know that it really isn't her, it's you. Ofcourse, the time will come when you'll have to tell her you have to let go comforting her so she grows strong.
Keep strong brah. Try to do chit. Walk, go to the movies, go to a (sport) game, try not going with friends and talking about it because it will drive you crazy. Again, try doing chit, you will acquire more and more perspective, and will see the light. It's all good brah. You were a great boyfriend, and ended things right instead of ending them when it's all gone down the toilet because you're not in love anymore. You love her, but you're not IN love with her.★★ HELEN SMITH crew ★★
