How and when should I drink my whey protein ?

Hello, I'm currently training 4x/week and looking to bulk up muscle, I'm 6'0 and 155lbs 17years old.

I want to start using whey protein, but I've heard many different kinds of things about the right time to take it, I've heard that it's good to drink 3x/day(waking up,before exercise, after exercise) 2x/day(before exercise/before sleeping), 1x/day(2hours after exercising), so..

    - Should I drink it with water or milk ? Any difference ?
    - I've been told by a trusty source that the muscle only starts repairing himself about 2hrs after intense workout, so that means I should only drink my "instant whey protein" 2 hrs after exercising, or should I do like everyone else that drinks it immediately after working out ?
    - How many times a day ?!
    - How many grams ? (my scoop is 28gs I think)

I'm thinking about buying the Optimum 100% gold standard whey protein.

    Thanks !

It's not some magic powder that you need to indulge a specific amount at just the right time so that your muscles will grow. Treat it like any other food. I suggest taking it after your workout and if you want to drink one more often then that's just fine, drink it whenever you want. As long as your body is getting enough protein to recover it doesn't really matter too much when you drink it or where the protein comes from.

You need 155g of protein a day from the sources of your choosing. Use whey to reach that goal if necessary. That's about all there is to it.

You came up with that number "155g" based on my size or this is just universal to everyone ?

he got that based on your weight. The general rule is you need 1g - 1.5g of protein / lb of body weight.
    bench - 275
    squat - 315
    deadlift - 405

General rule of thumb is 1g of protein per pound of body weight. Some people will argue less than that, but honestly, it won't hurt if you get an extra .2g of protein per pound of body weight, so why not eat the little extra.

Ok thanks, I have no ideia how I will know the grams of protein I take everyday with meat/chicken so I'll probably exceed this number(in order to not underachieve the needed amount)

Which leads me to another question, if I take for example 180bs of Protein in a day, this means I'll release around 30lbs of it in my pee ? If yes, have you heard about Urinotherapy ? Lyoto Machida does it, so I'd have no problem in doing it.

No... You won't release 30 lbs of anything in pee... Unless you pee 30 lbs? Shooting for more protein is only going to help, not hurt, as long as you drink enough water.

Sorry, I meant 180grams, I'm not very used to using lbs.
